Hopefully “truth spoken here” is everywhere on this site. Without that, what do we have?

Yeah, I think the naming is kind a turn off.
I’m unsure who he’s trying to persuade there.

I guess he is tired of every bike team trying to sound like a gang. YT Mob, SC Syndicate, etc…

Any word on those orders getting cancelled?

Guy on mtbr.com stated that BC gearheads originally contacted him and said they couldn’t honor the 46% off price, but could do 25%. He declined, and they later reached back out to him to offer 40% off.

Curious to hear how they’re handling other transactions from the error in pricing.

It must be in the fall air that is coming, this bike talk! I’ve been spying some bikes, looking for something with a bit more travel, although I don’t need it. But it’s fun to look at bikes!

I took my bike in to the shop today to get the derailleur cable replaced and saw a Stumpjumper Evo in my size…haha. I didnt ride it though. I looked at it, touched it…thought it was nice, but…I don’t need it. It’s carbon as well and I’m not the greatest rider and don’t pick good lines, so alloy frame is better for me. Good thing the shop doesnt have the Evo alloy elite! Then I might be explaining a bit to the wife!

Also, they got my bike fixed pretty quick so that helped with not having to look at this carbon Evo any longer!

Carbon frames will survive anything an aluminum will, where carbon fails is from abrasion and aluminum dents. They both have pros and cons and biggest pro for aluminum is cost.

Most people against carbon would be on carbon if say frames were only 10% more… that’s my opinion on it.

Give them a call and see if they’ll extend the offer.
