Put him in a KBM truck for 2023. Keep the seat warm for Keelan.

    Edit:

Can't you see Keelan and Brexton tearing it up in the truck series together? SHoot, add Bowyer's kid to the mix, too.

True on the NASCAR side of it for sure. Gm's do tend to have a lot of little annoying issues around the 10 year mark. Hell, I just had to replace the overflow tank on my wife's 2018 Tahoe right out of warranty. Not the end of the world but annoying for sure. I find most GM vehicles easy to work on. Not counting my mother in laws 2007 Trailblazer SS with the 6.0. That thing is a fucking nightmare!

So now I'm confused.. Its if supposed to be off the shelf, and if your hunch is right, that would be cheating. they are modifying parts that are supposed to be straight off the shelf for everyone. regardless, if its a shit part or not, any modification to it would be cheating. correct?

Holy fuck man. Yes, my suspension is that some teams are cheating. Hence why I said I would not be surprised if we see some penalties that affect the outcome of the playoffs. Also, all the teams are cheating. You all know that right? Sorry, I just thought what I was saying was clear. Not my intent to be a total dick.

I like the Patina. Wish mine was even. One side was roached by the sun so I had to paint.

My 2008 Canyon was a pain too. Maybe that has to do with modern vehicles, but I had to remove the driver's side wheel to get to an evap solenoid that wasn't even the problem. I also had to do the same thing and use two swivels just to take out the thermostat which had gone bad due to an o-ring getting warped out of position. In the end I put $2k into it the month before I traded it in and it still didn't fix my issues. But I digress.

I had a 2007 canyon that I bought new.Nothing but problems after maybe like the first year. It’s the reason I went back to Toyota’s.

I tend to stick with flagship vehicles for each manufacturer. Silverados and Tahoes for GM. Tacoma and 4Runners for Toyota. Seems each manufacturer has models they spend more time engineering and hence perform better than others. I would not consider buying anything GM other than a Corvette, Silverado, Tahoe maybe a Camaro depending on the year and trim.

I have to do a tuneup on my in laws trailblazer SS this weekend and I am not looking forward to changing the plugs. That things a nightmare to work on and I will admit it’s pretty much a POS but with the 6.0 it goes like hell!

I can’t believe that GM let the SS Trailblazer out of the prototype phase the way they did. Always chasing electrical gremlins in that thing. The drain plug location dumps oil directly onto the steering rack and the front crossmember is directly below the oil filter. It takes about an hour to replace the air filter and I fully expect to have to remove the passenger inner fender and half the AC to change the rear passenger plug. Other than that I need to swap the passenger front window regulator, the control panel for the heat control and figure out why it dumps all the washer fluid in the tank. I suspect that bad pump seals. And I just got done chasing an evap problem for 6 months and replacing half of that. Not a fan of that POS! I noticed a leaking rear axle seal a couple of months ago too but not sure I am feeling that ambitious this weekend.

I'll definitely give you that. I was going to get the F150 but what it came down to was the fact that I didn't need a full size truck.

Speaking of which. I'm currently in Silverthorne, CO and have spotted 2 Colorado prototypes and a possible Land Rover prototype. I will say, the new Colorado looks pretty sweet.

The one on the right is also a Colorado and appears to have work truck tires on it. Don't know why the front is in heavy camo. Only the tow hooks are covered in camo on this one.

Well, plugs & wires are changed in the Trailblazer. My hands and forearms are beat up and pissed. Changed the door regulator, wiper blades. Found a hole in the washer tank and tried to seal with epoxy and changed the air filter. Still have to change the oil but I’m taking a break.
