Picked up an iKamper 3.0. Had one during the height of Covid and sold it for a small profit lol…but then I missed it and ended up moving to a house with a garage so I figured why not!

 

billie bars and a tri fold? is that inconvenient?

 

How would it be? lol. Having a tent with a tonneau is inconvenient no matter the setup IMO. I'm putting a hoist system in the garage for the 364 days of the year when I won't be using the tent anyways

 

a roller tonneau I think would give access, wasn’t sure how you’d get stuff in the back of the bed conveniently.

Anyways just asking as someone with a trinfold

 

Gotcha, I mean yea it's slightly inconvenient for that. But I don't mind crawling at my age and/or just using a rod with a hook on it to grab stuff. Otherwise it's great for keeping the MPGs a bit higher and stuff dry/safer.

 

It's all the safety sense stuff, windshield camera, tss sensor in the grill, etc. I think it's just a way to charge extra. The camera goes back in the same slot, not sure why it needs to be recalibrated unless the windshield took a major hit.
My dash lights are not on so I'm going pass for now. They did make.me sign a waiver for their liability release should the system not operate properly.

Simple addition to somewhat remedy the awful location of the data port on the dash.


Routes the USB plug 90 degrees down with a USB C port. Now the cord isn’t sticking straight out above the cup holder and I didn’t have to mess around routing usb back and forth from the center console.

Camera at the top of the tailgate. So I can have rear view when it is down. Gotta swap the cables though.

 

Not the OP.
I have Billiebars, it is a solid product.
With a cargo carrier and 2x Yakima bike racks mounted on top they takes about 5 min. to remove. I keep a screw driver in my glove box so I can remove the anti-theft screws for the BillieBars if needed in about another 5 min.

 

Ah thanks for the insight. Makes me feel like two dudes and a screwdriver can steal what’s on the bars then in 5 min..

 

Billeibars come with anti-theft SS screws. My bike racks have quick connects but I added an Allen key bolt at the rear tire holder bolted to the BillieBars and also cable locked them.

 

Added OEM TRD grill and OEM garnish. Also raptor lights from R4T. Looks great I think

 

I actually got one that does a right turn out of the USB port. I could kick the a** of the engineer who placed that port right over our cup holders. Ran the cord along the right side of the dash piece and up to the magnetic Phone holder. Held in place a couple of times with the fuzzy part of Velcro, the whole piece over the cord so the adhesive holds the cord.

 

I don't think I can make it to work tomorrow.
