Man, I could never let that truck go. I bought it when I was 18, I'm almost 30 now, as my wife likes to remind me. It's been with me through a lot over the years. But when shit like this happens it's really disheartening. But if you wanna help foot that repair bill, by all means, please! Lol.

I guess I have to tell myself to stop tinkering with it and stick to the basics from here on out.

Should be done by tomorrow afternoon. Hoping for the best. It never feels good having someone else have to do the work for you AND pay them to do it. But sometimes it's out of your control. And in this case, it came to that.

I'm pretty sure my soon-to-be-ex-wife blew up my 3rd gen T4R the other day.

    2JZ swap?

There's a silver lining in there somewhere... At least they didn't need to drop the gas tank and replace all of that mess. It stinks a bit that the maintenance attempt went sideways on you but at least you stopped before it got any worse. I'm sure that we all have been in that same situation.

Perhaps. I'm sorry to hear that, though. You could always do a JDM swap.

I definitely appreciate the words of encouragement. Trying not to think about it. But hey, lesson learned, right? Guess it's time to cash out for a Taco. I have a general idea of what I want, too.

Gotta have four doors and must be capable of carrying two car seats in the back. Also a manual would be super awesome. Aside from that, that's all I really care about!

I can say absolutely, with a 85% probability of the US national average (48 lower states), being between $2.29 and $4.29 USD a gal for regular, pump it yourself, cash only. This prediction is null and void in the event of WWIII.

Realistically, peak driving season is over, we’re heading into (or are in) a recession, gas prices should continue downwards. If a hurricane hits the gulf coast and wipe’s Louisiana and south Texas off the map, all bets are off.
