Ignore the peanut gallery. There will always be idiots who suffer from fatal amounts of the Dunning-Kruger effect and terminal verbal diarreah. They aren't even worth acknowledging. Keep up the good work!

Got mine, havent installed it yet but love that it fits our nalgenes.

would be cool if they had this for the rear console cupholders as well

I need to un-follow this thread or find more couch cushions to dig through. I'm getting envious with all these photos.

If it weren't for 4k in unplanned septic repairs and another 1k in other unplanned house maintenance within the last month I would have ordered this by now. Ability to fit Nalgene sized bottles and also holding them deeper to get out of the way of the switches is great. I'm definitely adding this to my Christmas list.

It can hold the 28 oz Gatorades, the ones that have more of an hourglass shape. Not 100% sure about the 32oz but I believe they are too wide - need to buy one and confirm

Smart people make Gatorade from powder in their Nalgene bottles. :D

I'd recommend against using ABS, the smell of it off-gassing in a hot car might not be pleasant. For the sake of science though, I'm definitely in favor of you doing this. Let us know how long it takes to design a cup holder that fits in place of the factory one. If you can get the fit in one go, that's impressive.

I'd be interested in rear holders as well, since I have a manual trans and we have different front cupholders. I doubt there's enough potential sales volume to make an MT front version a viable product.

Never know, I feel this product kind of came out of no where.

I would hazard a guess that less than 5% of Tacomas are MT (and that's an extremely generous number). Even if every single one of us bought one, it probably still wouldn't recoup mold and manufacturing costs.

    Check build thread!
Alright, I'm not gonna lie, I was critical at first. But, my coffee just dumped everywhere, so I’m considering it now. Lol.
Currently working on it. Didn’t plan on actually doing it, not gonna lie . The product posted looks really good. Mine would not look as polished, that’s for damn sure. Maybe I should look closer at products before running my mouth, lol.

I am a Coke Zero addict and thus am fine with the factory cup holder set up. But I did like the idea of always having a fresh liter of H2O in the truck and went with one of the chalk bags on the passenger side setup. But hats off to the designer/maker of this mod option for the Big Gulp Nalgene crowd!

Two things have happened every day this work week. My Nalgene bottle has fallen to the floor while on the morning drive and I've seen this thread popping up. Up until today I poo pooed this thread. I've been caught by fads before. I own a Tentsile hammock and a Joolca water heater but I'm trying to learn my lesson. But having my trusty old water bottles fall on the floor is a problem I can now fix with just this one easy to install product (as opposed to getting bottles that fit or driving less like an ass). I promise I'm trying to be more responsible. Ordered.

You should have waited. Maverick is going to have a similar product available for purchase in about an hour. It will probably be about $50 cheaper too.

I have this mug as well and it fits perfectly in the stock cup holders. I would like to have this aftermarket cupholder replacement, but for $80, I will just use the wally world yeti knock-off.

Received mine the other day, and finally installed it this morning. Apart from the tune, this might be my favorite mod to date. So pumped to be able to fit my nalgene without a stupid adapter that pops out.
