Wow. Used ones are few and far between around here, and this is the only one that looks like a double on Cabela's. 36" wide seat... Shipping is another $80ish for me, or a 4 hour round trip to pick up.

I'm obviously living in the wrong country.

I was thinking of them as well. Do you use climbing sticks?

 

Years ago a fellow who worked for me came in all ticked off after opening day.

Seems he nodded off in his stand and dropped his brand new Mathews compound bow.

 

They ain't cheap

 

I tried the hawk sticks at first and didn’t like them. I now use the Wild Edge steps with a naider/swaider setup. 3 steps and my platform get me about 17-18 feet up. Sometimes I’ll just leave the steps up for a few weeks on public land. They blend in and no one ever notices them.

 

The fall broke something so it couldn't be used, he couldn't do anything that day and had to use his old bow until parts came in.

To say he was ticked is an understatement.

 

I would be pist.

Thanks, I've never heard of either of those. Just watched a couple of videos, the combination looks pretty slick! Like everything, a little practice would go a long way.

 

Putting aside the fact that it's three months too early, THIS is a cool advent calendar!

 

For over 30 years. I got a new Lone Wolf this year, I used my API Bowhunter for about 25 years. Haven't climbed with the Lone Wolf yet but I'm not expecting any problems.

 

I'm liking bus more and more. I enjoy the two person ladder stands but I got a new climber after last season that I need to get more comfortable with before I drag it up to the NC mountain arouns Thanksgiving.

 

I need to say THANK YOU! This has helped me clean and purge more from my garage. The trash truck may struggle emptying our trash can tomorrow! More cleaning out this weekend…

Except for the months long wait time between ordering a new 3rd gen and delivery.

As someone who lusted over my dad's black '96 Impala SS as a kid, that's gotta be a hate crime.

I buy my trucks wrecked at auction. Just be a matter finding one I like.
