We put one in the chicken coop. The chickens don’t even own a car.

In older urban areas, especially on the east coast, there are a lot of row houses and apartments with street parking only. These either tend to be historic areas with wealthier residents or congested areas intending to fit as many people as possible into small areas.

These areas also have multiple public transportation options that western and rural areas of the US don’t have.

Dunno what Canada is doing but here in the US as you may know we are starting to put money into it with high resistance. Unfortunately.

The USDOT has a 'Tool Kit' to help rural areas and property owners get charging infrastructure funds and help for them.

I saw one near me and even though it doesn't look good in pics I liked the front end better in person.

This morning I actually saw a Rivian in person for the first time, too. I am dumbfounded that anyone would spend good money on something so ugly, but then again, 'Murica. Freedom.

    But I'm old, so...

There is no such thing as 'free', just other people paying for it.

It looked good until I saw the “grill”, ugly like every new truck.
    Then again, I’m old.

I've seen a few Rivians around here. Could have been the same one three times. Saw a Lightning today too. Dude popped the hood and pulled groceries out. That was about as shocking as walking in on your parents.

I have never seen a Rivian but I do live in a rural area.

Drove a Lightning Lariat the other week when I was called out to service the Dealership air compressor and the general manager offered me the keys when I asked about it.
    It was quite fast.
