You knew that in a lot of cases that if you don't unplug the camera, it does not force you to re-calibrate it when you change the windshield, And works fine as is.

So that means when we see you in a couple weeks at the next coffee meetup....
Your windsheild won't be cracked and your dash won't be lit up like a Xmass tree? (Electrical tape over the lights don't count)

    :)

Let's say I need brake pads yesterday... OEM comparable in cost to better option? Looks like I'll have to find something in stock and do myself this weekend

Glad I’m done driving for the day.
At 5:30am I very nearly ran over some stupid old fucker dragging his garbage cans across the road....the 80km/h unlit road. I thought I was slowing down for a stupid deer, turns out it was just a stupid human. Under full brakes, and nearing the gravel shoulder, I was still doing 40km/h as I passed him standing on the centre line.

Fast forward to 8pm, heading home from a goodnight tour with my kids, a guy flags me down and asks “HAVE YOU SEEN A HORSE?!? It just got loose, ran this way!”
Tell the fellow no, but I’ll keep my eyes open.
8:01pm, I’m one concession further west and see a horse running full tilt towards me dragging an upside-down buggy, shooting sparks. I bust a U-ey, throw on the hazards and pursue at a distance.
8:02pm, another car lays on tbe horn and high beams the horse, it pulls a U-ey and is hard charging towards me again. This time the buggy clips the front of my truck, horse carries on, swerves around guy behind me and breaks loose the buggy with his Ferd Escape.
Another fellow, on foot chasing the horse hops into my truck and asks me to persue his neighbours horse. I comply (already committed by now), and I pass him my Maglite. 10 seconds later we spot the horse, he hops out, grabs the reins and walks the horse down the road. I park on the shoulder, and the owner who initially flagged me down asks of I’m OK, and offers me some cash. I talk to him for a couple mins while his adrenaline settles, and we part ways with a handshake.
I’ve got a pair of 6” cracks in a plastic bumper, and a paint scuff. Would hate to benefit from that guys awful night, and honestly I’d rather be hit by a stupid horse, than hit a stupid human.

Some JB Plastic Weld, two beers and a splash of mud, the mighty Taco will be nearly good as new.

    Time for a doooobie.

Crappy picture in the dark attached.

He has stock 16" OR wheels as of a month ago. In any case, the brake pads are the same P/N; they just operate on a larger radius when installed in the 4Runner calipers.
