    -shit
-not unless you need it for Offroad. Need it.
-rubs at lock highly recommend lift and cab mount chop and regear
-a lot worse hunts for gears

-you will get differing opinions that seem to completely cancel my own so ultimately no clear answer until you know for sure yourself by doing it because everyone has a different tolerance of what they like and there's no substitute for seat time.

    TL:DR

    YMMV

TL : DR you smily encoding twat.

I got 285/75r16 with 1.5 inch wheel spacers. I get around 20mpg to my commute to work. I personally wish I got bigger tires but for a daily driver it's not bad. In my experience I did not rub except in my UCA when steering was maxed. Now since I have spacers I rub everywhere lol. I don't notice the acceleration difference since I've had these tires on for about 75% of the time I've had the truck.

These are the replies I’m looking for!!! thanks for the insight
in all honesty it’s just a look for me, I definitely don’t wheel hard. Just your occasional off Roading.

    Still debating between 285/265

I would personally get 285s. 265s look a little small IMO. Every truck is different tho

For looks that's tough, once you go over 33's it starts looking a little more bro dozery or superoffroady depending on your accoutrement, so like 285 is a nice balance of serious but not silly, but the smaller 265 bring a business sense of "I know what I'm doing and I have exactly enough" sharp true utilitarian ruggedness especially in the angular 3rd gen kinda classic.

So really it comes down to your current mods and where you wanna go with it eventually and how long you'll have those tires vs how much more they'll cost you in gas if you go bigger.

    It's a rabbit hole man.

We're all along for the ride.

Also called it 2nd opinion completely mines inverse.

Oh and be careful playing this game because once you go up in size you can never step down.

    Those are the rules.

And also so is apparently those "34"s look like 33"s which looked like 32"s which looked like my 31"s and we started with 29"s so what's going on with these magical shrinking tires of they never look big enough" mini game.

Damn. This was like poetry lol

I’m stuck in this same debate at the moment. I’ve been running 265/75/16 Grabbers for a while but I’m itching for something bigger. I don’t need anything bigger, but I’m having a tough time convincing myself to stay with the 265’s.

Your post helped lol thank you

For real, one of the hardest decisions ever. Do you have a picture of your truck, want to see 265 looks like on black

-what is your gas mileage? 16 to 17

-do you recommend running the size? They’re great but I’m going 315/75r16 next.

-have you experienced any problems besides rubbing such as wheel bearings problems?
I haven’t. No issue. Didn’t have to get a cmc either.

-How much worse acceleration changed. It’s was effected but it was worth it.
