Just a question of curiosity, if real, would any of that explode from the heat of the cat? Also if a grenade detonates under your truck, wouldn’t one be out of a truck and a cat in the process? I mean I’m sure it’s all a joke but still it’s like replacing toilet paper with barbed wire.

The fact it’s a two pack is awesome because it’s even better in the port in the console! Awesome!

Rearranged the Clazzio seat heater harness in preparation for the install on Saturday. Given how I have the electrical setup in my truck, it made sense for me to de-pin illumination and switch power wires at the switch, solder them together, and extend them. The wires that were modified were wrapped in Tesa Tape which is the factory harness tape found on most German luxury vehicles. The harness has four connection points to the vehicle for each set of elements: main power (12 AWG red), ground (16 AWG black), illumination (16 AWG yellow), and switch power (16 AWG red w/ orange stripe).

My plan is to run the main power and ground from the Rigrunner that is currently under the rear seat, pass the harness along the transmission tunnel, and terminate the switches at the factory switch panel. The switch will be powered by an add-a-fuse that will be plugged into either Power Outlet 1 or Power Outlet 2. The illumination power can be sourced from an unused connector behind the radio (or so I've been told). For this, I'm using a posi-tap as T-taps often cut through the wire thus making the connection spotty and the factory wire unusable. I thought about adding a relay box. But that's more work that what I'm willing to deal with at the moment. Maybe in the future. Picture of the completed harness below. My modifications are nearest the switches

AFAIK you can microwave a hand grenade and it won't go off unless that pin is pulled, that hammer flips, and that timer is ignited.

The Claymore on the other hand I believe is plastic explosive so it's basically as safe as chewing gum until it gets just the right electrical tickle.

Supposedly some guys do chew it for fun.

I had to do the same on my 2nd gen, nuts were not even close to budging. I am sure my neighbors liked me that day using the pneumatic cutoff tool. Looks like the 3rd gens are no better.

Not much of a mod but I threw in a K&N VF2005 cabin filter last night to replace my 3600-mile old factory one. Old filter was only barely brown but the A/C flows noticeably easier. No weird smell either since they're not oiled the same as the engine filters. Yay for mods I probably wouldn't have purchased if I didn't get an unexpected Amazon gift card lol. Was too dark to take pics but seems worthwhile so far.
