Anyone recognize this muppet? 4 runner looks like raptor lined but might just be paint. Tell him not to be less than a car length off my bumper going 50 in the right lane. Can find full video but dude merged in and almsot took my bumper with him.

I changed over to ABF. Its another freight company. The pay is slightly more but the benefits (retirement) is much better!

Went to sleep away camp out near Milford PA when I was younger and every year they'd have a do a couple days on the trail. My last year there as basically a Jr counselor we did 5 days and like 50 miles ending at high point state park. I was a city kid at that point and didn't truly appreciate it til my last year or 2 there but it was an awesome experience in hindsight, met some cool through hikers n whatnot

Well then congratulations! Still doing the buffalo route?

Nice! I'm figuring out some of the high level logistics of it. I'm almost for certain going to do it hammock style, that one I know. Otherwise it's just learning more about it, how long I'll need, that whole bit. Unfortunately I think I'll be dogless for it. It's doable other than a section in a national park that doesn't allow dogs. But I think if I do it, I won't take her with me that long. I'll probably try to bring her on some 3-4 day ones though.

If you're trying to do the whole shebang I think most start in March and push through til November, north to south so you're not racing against winter in Maine at the finish line

I've heard a couple different approaches. A loooot of people start in March in Georgia and push north, 6 months. That's what I'm leaning toward "the classic". But the issue with that is that it's buuuusy. So a lot of people are starting mod year in the middle, go north and hit Maine, then go down and do the Southern half, starting in the middle and going south (I think). I want to do it all in one. If I do that (half) I know I'd get back home in between and be like "ahhh showers and beds? Nahhhhhhhh"

Plus I want to end it by summiting katahdin.

Bro you had me panic that I missed my time haha

The "official" rules are that you do it all within 12 months I think. It doesn't say the order. But in my brain, to me, yeah. Straight through A to B. And for me it's ending it by summiting katahdin. You don't start it by descending katahdin

Looks similar to my morning although you’re doing something completely different.

Truck project started this morning, new steering rod and tie rods:
    BB041BBE-B7FA-4EBE-9B2D-9F969FF6F6B6.jpg
out with the old, in with the new:
    13017CF1-E4EA-4255-8A3B-A3F27A3942EF.jpg
got it mounted, but need to stop to go to a wedding

Everything came off surprisingly easy, fought the taper fit a little but using the press was huge, made short work of it in the end. Thanks for the great advice @AllTacosFloat

Anyone not doing anything tonight in the Medway MA area should go to the Blackstone marching band competition. There are a bunch of schools from around the state coming to compete tonight. I know it may sound kinda nuts but it's actually a lot of fun watching these kids compete. The show starts at 6:00 and ends with Blackstone competing around 8:15-8:30.

We were talking about Safelite a few days ago. Can they repair scratches in the side windows? Not sure when this happened, but it's deeper than the normal scratches. It's on the inside of the rear door window. Looks similar to a scratch in window tint film when the sun hits it.

I think this is your answer. They would scrape off the old and put on new or probably easier to replace.. got glass coverage?

I always thought the factory tint was throughout the glass, not just a layer. Looks to be about $150 new from Toyota. I've replaced window motors, but not the glass itself.
