BAMF 3rd gen Hybrid bumper

Working on mounting mine now. Any trimming needed to fit the winch with the control box side mounted?

The fairlead is aluminum. Anyone with a table saw can probably hack off the forehead on the Smittybilt fairlead. Going to give it a go here shortly.

 

Hey guys, really interested in getting this bumper. But I was curious would the baja squadron sport kit that are designed for fitting the factory bumper be compatible with this bumper? Or would I just need new mounting brackets? Here’s the link for said lights, sorry if this question has already been asked, I couldn’t find the answer.

You need the generic bracket from BD for those to work with the bumper. Factory mounting will not work.

Not a hard install at all. Mine sat for months , but I finally put on my BAMF stuff. I absolutely love all my BAMF armor and none of the powder coating was damaged shipping all the way to TN. The packaging was on point and I pack stuff for shipping daily. Jerry has great products and has always been helpful with any of my e-mail questions. ✌ Left plenty of space because I flex my truck a ton off roading.

 

@JLee still waiting to hear from you on the status of my bumper order AB-14892. I sent an e-mail last week and a message in IG. Order date was April 11 and today is 13 weeks. I have a trip planned next week and was really hoping to be able to pick this up and get it installed this weekend. Please give me an update on when I can pick it up.

 

I'm also waiting on status update, but more for shipping invoice since I don't know if I missed it or not.

 

@JLee I hope everything is going well. Just wanted to check in to see where things are. You mentioned via email mid June I should get a shipping invoice roughly around the end of the month. I haven’t seen anything come through on my end, so I just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything from you.

For those wondering about lighting up your BAMF Hybrid bumper. I went all Diode Dynamics. The 30” light bar fits , but a nightmare of patience is needed if you install the light bar AFTER the bumper is installed. I HIGHLY recommend installing whatever 30” light bar you chose BEFORE mounting the bumper. The mounting tabs for the light bar can be adjusted in or out with careful taps from a hammer ( I covered the hammer with microfiber cloth ) as to not damage the powder coating. I’m not on here all the time , but I do welcome any questions and check my inbox on here when I do log on. I have no affiliation with BAMF, I just like their products and use them. I’ll promote quality, but will call out junk in a heartbeat. Jerry makes quality stuff, period.

Looks Good!! When did you order and how long was the wait before it shipped?

 

Better yet when did you order? Id be the one to contact on that question. bare metal hybrids have been running 14+ weeks but were making headway with lead times as the gas prices slowed June and July orders. powder coated have been 20 weeks give or take a week.

 

I ordered early April. I am at 18 weeks and waiting on powder coat. The 20 weeks you mention above seems accurate. I would have ordered earlier if I had known it was going to be 20 weeks, but good things come to those who wait.

Installed the BAMF hybrid, Warn EVO 12-S and Diode Dynamics Fogs. Worth the wait!
