    Oh look, another mod....
You say you don't want to pay the dealer markup (I get it, I wouldn't want to pay it either, none of us do), but you're willing to pay $50k for a used, 1yr old truck with 16k miles?

I don't plan on paying $50k, but they probably won't budge. New pricing (auto) is $52k then add markup.
Other option I looked at was 23 TRD Sport loaded, but it was about $49k, and the website won't let me play around with the build anymore.

Also who knows when I would actually get the truck.

CPO powertrain warranty is better than new too.

I noticed that too, but it looks good with the K02s. The color is just throwing me off a bit, so hopefully it looks better in person. Going to check it out tomorrow.

It looks like $50k is the cash offer, I'm sure the price is a lot higher if you finance the full amount.

Good eye. It's a cash deal, because I'm bringing my own financing.

Hated lunar rock, however after seeing it more often around town I somewhat regret not getting it.

With that said, I wouldn’t purchase a Tacoma used. The price differential of new and uses is too close. I’d find an msrp no
    Markup dealer.

I agree with you. My last two Tacomas were purchased new, but not sure I want to wait months for a Pro. CPO is hard to find, so it is the only reason I was considering it.

It’s got some sliders. That saves you a grand. Add the KO2’s and the bed cover and you have a couple of nice extras. I wouldn’t be surprised to find a couple of more things. Like bed stiffeners? Bed mat? LED bulbs in the cab?

    Look for something else.
Ask yourself, do i really afford a $60k used truck?

I’m of the opinion to go for it. If I were in a similar position, I would. In this climate and those extras and mileage I’d say it’s as good as it gets.

With those low miles, the fact the owner made some investment in extras- probably 2+k and being in Florida in likely only saw pavement. A 2021 Pro with that mileage AND NO EXTRAs would sell for that, or MORE.

Who knows what else might be on that truck with that kind of owner. Take a quick lookie.
    1. Hood struts
    2. Differential breather
    3. Bed mat
    4. AC drain mod
    5. Bed stiffeners
    6. Switch Pro
    7. Metal filter housing
    8. Locking gas cap
    9. Maybe even a Fumoto valve! This would be a great sign because this means they did their own oil changes.

I’d buy it and do the following. No more than $300 DIY.
    1. Engine oil and filter
    2. Engine air filter
    3. Cabin air filter
    4. Transmission drain and refill
    5. Change diff and transfer case fluid

I feel like you are more excited about it than me lol

Appreciate the list of things to keep an eye out for. Were the raptor style grill lights an option from Toyota in 2021? I feel like CPO would not allow for as much DIY add ons unless they were dealer installed.

I’m not sure I understand. Raptor lights weren’t an option. Those tires and sliders were not an option. The dealer simply takes the truck in and resells with little thought to what’s been added by the previous owner. You win in that case because they likely know nothing about many of the mods we make.

Go check it out and look under the frame and check for any hard abuse.
If it looks good, buy it!

If you can afford it, then buy it. Life is too short to be playing the waiting game.
