I researched the weight of dry cherry lumber. Around 3-4 pounds per board foot. I hauled 300 board feet and had no problems on the interstate. I did 60 mph, I could tell it was loaded. More by the raised hood feeling than any sluggish throttle. Still got 20 mpg.

Got it for free from a friend. He milled it 40 years ago with plans to build cabinets. He’s 81 now so he gave it to me.

Nice. I always enjoy seeing pictures of people doing truck stuff with a Tacoma.

This wasn’t a huge load but man my truck rode like a Cadillac with this stuff in the bed haha

Jewelry boxes, clocks, cutting boards. Small stuff, can’t move the big stuff around anymore.

Me too. I built some benches with cubbies under them for my daughter. Too big and heavy. Like the small projects now.

I might be interested in a cutting board. PM me when you have a couple to choose from.

Okay so I'm confused on the payload of the tacomas because on my door jam it says it's rated for 990 but when I look it up on Toyota's website it shows it being 1,155 and I highlighted the specific specs I have and it shows Screenshot_20230104-005134.jpg 1155

Would also confuses me is my old car which was a 17 RAV4 had a much higher payload than 990 so it confusing that a compact SUV has a higher payload than a truck

The door jam sticker is for the accessories installed at port, etc that’s different than the baseline trim which you have highlighted above.
