Worth a try and not crazy expensive. I'll grab a can or 3 next time I'm at homedump and give it a try. For me it's the brackets that need something that creeps. Woolwax covers great but doesn't soak into flaking rust.

Might be at an auto parts store rather than home depot

Black looks best for sure. I just think about wrenching and what I look like after.
Any color is better than nothing.

The video said at home depot and only in rattle cans. Can't say I've ever seen it on the shelf but if banned parts is willing to cover his brand new 4runner in it I'll try it.

    You were right...
So when woolwax catches on fire its a bit like napalm
    :bananadead:

No less than 10 fires to do the CMC:rofl:

Didn't get to the alignment tabs. Wasn't too clean so we'll do them later. Did invest in a weldershood and will be buying a welder this week.(i can finally see what I'm doing!)

I'll hit it with the flap disc and paint after dinner

Well, if I wanna get that done, I might hit you up for that. I'll probably have to power wash that entire area before that though, lol.

Hit it quick with the flap disc and painted it up. This week I'll beat back the pinch weld and seal it up nice. Trying to get as ready as possible for 35s.

You're next and we made some gusset pieces for the alignment tabs. Guy said he will come up to Lawrence( my shop) for the next mod day. Which is about as far as Jared's for him.

So we should plan up another mod day somewhat soon, we were also talking about a brewery meet-up or something before its too cold..?

Minor fires... like 10. Cleaned really well but anything I missed caught. Had a hose and fire extinguisher but only needed a spray bottle. Had him do 10 second hits all the way around and we were done in an hour and bushings didn't cook.

Guy that did it thought I should have cleaned the welds better with the flap to make it look nice...function first

Hell yeah, right now I'm open any weekend except next weekend and then the 15th but I've been actively trying to take on side work to scrounge some funds so I'll let you know if things change. I'll chop the body mounts and have him do those + the gussets when we go :D also down for a brewery day before it gets to cold!
