I kinda hate that my 3.4 on 315s barely beats that…

I haven't been able to sell it despite lowering the price to 4500... coping with the fact I may just be stuck with this perfectly running and driving vehicle that isn't even bad

Stress does funky stuff for sure, has the big work change been settling at all or is it still going strong?

It’s all good. Just a lot of change and transition, but for good reasons.

I hate falling into the trap of thinking that I just have to get past the ‘next stressful event’, and life will magically be perfect, but I do feel like it’s true in this case. It just sucks when I keep waking up between 1:00 and 3:00 WIDE AWAKE. Not sure what I can do about that.

How’s life been for you? I heard lots of meetings, and that’s always fun haha

    Mario Party!

It's either, me against my wife and neice, or my neice wanting to be on my side cause I always win

They've got some good stuff! I never had them until just recently as I had never heard of them before.

Ooh, I been wanting to get a flying sim but would prefer to do so if I had a cockpit setup.

    One day :burp:

    Nice, getting some sleep finally

Melatonin? Talk to primary care doc. Might be able to help get you back on track.

I appreciate the recommendation, but I’ve actually been on melatonin for a while haha. This blasts right past it. I think it’s just stress, tbh. I just need to deal with it in a better way.

Try exercise before bed. Be it cardio, whatever. No screen time for 45-60 mins prior to bed. Try a book.

Nights where I have my hockey games (usually 9:30 or 11pm) are the nights I end up getting only a couple hours of sleep. I dunno why but for me the exercise keeps my heart rate going like crazy for hours after. Might just be the intensity of it, idk. It's almost enough to make me not want to keep doing it but it's good exercise regardless lol. Wish they would give us earlier time slots.

The screen time though for sure, I try and put my phone away at least an hour before bed.

I could do better about the phone before bed. And I like the idea of reading before bed anyway. I’ve actually started buying paper books rather than kindle versions, if for no reason than to hopefully get me off of my phone more.

This is my worry about exercise before bed. I had always heard that it elevated your heart rate and that could disrupt your sleep.

I lift in the mornings three days a week, but I don’t really do any conditioning or cardio. That might be something to address as well. Maybe wear myself out a little more.
