The best prime rib I ever had I couldn’t look at it as I ate it. It was pretty much raw!!

I can't do that. Between the lukewarm temp and the rubbery feel when you chew...nope.nope.nope.
Love prime rib though. It's usually my go to on the menu when I eat out, which isn't often.

I almost sent it back myself. But I decided to taste it first and then I just tried not to look at it because it was delicious!!

I was thinking about that today when you come in from west Yellowstone and before you get to grand prismatic spring on the right there is a parking picnic area and the river is on the south side of the road. The fish were rising on that stretch and I could kick myself for not stopping and throwing dries.

Theres lots of spots like that! Didn't see many fisherman today, just a handful were out.
I think I'm going to fish my way home tomorrow. The Gallatin should be cleared up after Thursday's rain.
Assuming I can still move my body tomorrow.... Walked 11 miles today. That's about 4x's more that what I usually do in a day.
Already downed one handful of ibuprofen. Might do another before bed just in case!

I had some ibuprofens as a appetizer myself I was moving crates that came in on the chewy return truck to the storage facility and twisted wrong. It doesn’t take much when you get my age!

Great tune. Reminds me of watching Yellowstone. Wife and I just started to watch it. Binged watched over the last 3-4 weeks. Now on season 3. Really like it.

Agreed. We buy a 1/4 Bison every year. So I haven’t indulged in a nice piece of Prime rib for a long time. Need to order it at a restaurant one day soon with Au Jus and horseradish.

Ya know, Prime Rib is not difficult to cook at home. There are a number of recipes on YT. I've cooked it at Christmas every year for the last 6 or 7 years. If I can find it on sale, I fix it more often during the year. Of course, sometimes I also will get it at restaurants. I'm split between Prime Rib and Bone-in Ribeye as my favorite cut of meat; I find it really difficult to decide which cut I like better.
