    Hello all!
I might go with the Dark Anthracite wheels on my 2020 SR and have a question. In the description on BAM's website it states "Designed for use with the OE SR Grade Tires (P245/75R16)" what does this mean exactly? I was planning on either Toyo or Falken Wildpeaks in 265/75/16 is that size going to be a problem on these wheels? The wheels are 16x7"

    Thanks!

If you're insinuating 7" width is too narrow for 265, it's not a problem

But why that size? People use factory wheels to run pizza cutter because there aren't any aftermarket narrow wheels

I'd go pizza cutter size if I had those wheels

I uaed to have those wheels. They are a +25mm offset which means you can't go too wide or they will rub on your UCA and fenders.

Dealership said I could put on some 255/85/16s? I believe but ultimately I opted to go with new wheels and tires entirely

I wasn’t concerned about the width, I was just wondering why in the description it says Designed for use with the OE SR Grade Tires but in the TRD Pro Sema wheel description which is also a 7” rim it doesn’t say that. I’m thinking it’s because of the 13 vs 25 offset

because probably those who wrote that description aren't car/truck people and they don't know what they are talking about, just regurgitating whatever marketing material they read.

OEM TRD Sport wheels have even more positive offset and also 0.5" wider, and they clear UCA just fine on 265 width stock size tires, you should be more than fine

Yeah, that did come to mind but I think if I’m going with 265’s the +13 offset on the semas might be a better choice,

Thanks for the replies! I found the 16” TRD Pro wheels 30.00 cheaper than the Anthracite so I’m going that route

I have 265/75/16 wildpeak at3w on those exact wheels. They fit without rubbing, BUT: they are very close to the UCAs, I will never run these tires on low pressure. Ever. If the sidewall bulges another inch or so, they will scrape on the UCAs. Keeping them between 32 - 38 psi, no issues at all.

personally, I’m going down to 265/70/16 once these wear out. Hopefully slightly better handling and better fuel mileage
