Wow you're old, but happy birthday. :p

Incredible you still do your own oil changes at 60,000.

How many miles on the truck?

This happened on the 2008 as I was coming home from the grocery store. Fortunately I was close to home and I did not stop. No check engine lights or anything. Just happened out of the blue. It seemed to drive and run ok the rest of the way home. Good thing I already passed the Ford dealer or I could easily be driving a new "Ranger" right now. Small miracle I guess.

I'm running 2020 off road suspension on my 2014 SR5. Found a new complete take off suspension on Craig's list and my truck was in need at 170k. Made a huge difference in look and ride, so happy with the results. 20210502_070836-COLLAGE.jpg

Changed the oil and gave her a bath. 192k and she burns almost nothing, not enough to top off, between 3000 mile changes. Oil is still clean too. Engine just broken in

Started rubbing the cab mount immediately, chopped that yesterday and will plate it later or more likely do a relocation kit. My front fenders are already trimmed 1.5ish inches, I only cut the flares to clear my previous 33’s which will probably need to be trimmed more (no liners, hence the snorkel). Rear is totally clear as it sits, touching the bump stop I have about 3” of room left in the fender.

My set up is Fox 2.5 dsc’s f&r, Icon RXT leafs, JD Fab UCA’s and Wheelers superbumps. Not sure of exactly how much lift but probably 2.5” front and 2” back. Wheels are 17x8 -10 offset, which I think is one reason they clear the back so well, compared to like a -25 offset

Cleaned up the wiring going to my fuse box. Shortened the wires to the switches. Ordered a 4 pin connector for the rear view mirror. Tapped into the ignition wire so I can power auxiliary switches.

I did not pull the seat and carpet like I wanted. Cold yesterday and on and off rain today. I have the center console marked where I’ll add the 120V outlet. Pulling the console now so I can make the hole.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Same with my '14 - I have 199k and it runs as smooth as the day I bought it. Should hit 200 by next week.
