Just got mine installed today mid road trip. Been looking for a topper for a few days now while traveling across country. Finally found a dealer with one in stock here in Colorado. Originally wanted fiberglass but glad I pulled the trigger on this one. Loving it so far.

Rocky Toppers in Grand Junction CO. Awesome experience. Owner squeezed me since he knew I was just passing through. Great guys. Explained everything while they were getting it put together and had it installed pretty quickly. I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Question for anyone who's seen both, what's the difference between the commercial cap and the evo adventure? The commercial can be found for about $400 cheaper, and if the only difference is color I'm tempted to buy it and just bed line it black for like $50.

Sorry, have not read all messages. Any major issues with these?

How is the opening in the back? Specifically is it low or restrict the height of objects placed in the back

The Evo Adventure obviously is offered in a different color (black, commercial is white). The Adventure features interior molle storage panels on each side panel, and the Adventure features a small slider window in the forward most position (behind the back cab). The commercial cap does not have the slider window nor the molle panels.

Thanks for the response! Any idea if the price will ever come down? Looking at 4k to ship to my door is a bit much. With that cost I might as well save up for a GFC

Anything is possible, but we have not heard of any price reductions on the horizon.

There's a GFC thread already but hasn't been much talk about it. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/gfc-finally-releases-the-new-topper.778711/

I have a deposit on an Alucab Contour that I'm considering dropping and going for the GFC. The Contour is more in line with the RSI.

The GFC is certainly a different but is more in line with the sort of cap I'm looking for.

This thing is legit. Great quality product.

I’m definitely happy I stuck out the wait. Putting it together went ok, but installing was harder than I thought it would be. Definitely need 4 people. Throwing the tent on up top was a royal PITA

I’ll post more photos and a build process up on my thread later this week.

I priced both fiberglass and this about a month ago and at least on the east coast there wasn't much of a difference. In fact if you get the fiberglass topper that actually is spec'd to hold 800 lbs on top of it, this one was cheaper.

This still has to be one of my favorite builds thanks @PowerFlower for being an awesome customer.

We have 5 ft caps in stock still.

Third brake light just started leaking.
Is this a known issue? Warranty? Purchased from @OffroadAlliance.com just over a year ago. Had no issues up to this point, just had two boxes of flooring for my basement get very wet from this leak.
