    Our church lost many with COVID, not so much from death, but those who just didn't come back. We now share out pastor which allows us to keep paying the bills and keep the doors open. We have been here nearly 30 years and have many great memories as well. Hopefully, combining resources with the other local church will keep things going. Best wishes in finding a new church.

    mountain lions scare me more than bears. bears dont really want to be around us, any encounter is usually a surprise and failure on the human's part. lions on the other hand will stalk humans.
    i think i told you guys my mountain lion story from when i was a kid right? pretty sure that's somewhere in the archives of the 50's thread....

    I met one face to face in the mountains near Packwood south of Mt Rainier in ‘97. We looked at each other from about 10’ over the carcass of a small elk. We both turned and quickly left the same way we’d come.
