Add a leaf plus 2 inch blocks

    Can it be done with proper u bolts, thinking of adding a 1.5 add a leaf plus 2 inch block with 3.5 lift at front with camper and deck system in the back

    The problem that I’ve had with add a leaf’s is it could 1.5” or it could be more or it could be less.

    Get proper leaf springs instead of doing a hack job.

    Didn’t mean you, meant the stacking of a cheap block lift with a cheap AAL lift. The AAL and blocks have their places but together are a bad idea.

    Yeahhh. This.

    The AAL plus a 2 inch block sounds like a recipe for disaster. I have a half-inch shim under my Icon AAL and even that sketches me out sometimes.

    I already have the blocks, I do not have the add a leaf yet. I was considering as an option plus I also have firestone airbags also just in case I have to add extra weight on the back in case they sag. My tacoma is a pavement queen with never seen any real dirt but playing soon mostly fire road or scenic dirt roads

    Check build thread!
    Firestone airbags + Daystar cradles are the way to go IMO. Allows full flex off-road and full travel of the suspension, whilest allowing for flexibility of being able to change PSI for increased loads.
