Nice upgrade! And talk about a saver move! Never heard of having to lay a machine on its side. That's wild. Lol

    We still need shop tours..

    Agreed!
Yeah, that was not my favorite day at work. Granted, it was just the tool change carousel, which the drawing was on another sheet. But as the semi pulled on-site and seeing this massive tower under the tarp, my first reaction was -he must have someone else's order on as well- nope, just mine.

Had to flip the forks walked it in place like a wheelbarrow.

The rest of the machine cruised in place, just like it was supposed to.

Anyone have a line on a 2014 passenger side bedside and a factory or steel rear bumper?

I didn't take any pictures so I guess it didn't happen, but I drove to Coachella to buy a $500 Celica for parts. Curious to see if it can be made to run, but it needs quite a bit of TLC for that to happen.

It's a '93 GT vs my '90 ST so it has quite a few things to take off of it that'll more than cover the cost of the car vs buying those individually, and I may be able to recoup more costs by selling things I can strip off.

Ooooh it's a big ass magazine carousel! How many tools? Alright, I need to check that bad boy out... That makes more sense now too how it was laid on its side.

You guys get that for a specific job or just more capacity? New customers with larger parts warranted ours.

120 tool capacity. using it for prototyping, 0-60 are aluminum, 61-120 are steel. Has worked out pretty well in that sense. It replaced a Matsuura HPlus 300. I really didn't like that machine.

I did look up the Puma - that's impressive for certain.

Man I would love 120 tools. Haha. Our 40 and 50 carousels aren't enough on some jobs. I've maxed em out a few times as we do the same.. aluminum tool groups and steel. Then everything else is specialty/job specific.

If anyone is familiar with the backroad from Mt. Lemmon to Oracle then you’re probably familiar with this hill that looks intimidating but the Tacoma dominated it. Only had to rush a little going down cause the 30 degree angle, but all is well

Ive seen this warning on 3rd gens before from steep angles and it usually results in catastrophic engine failure. Too much oil gets stuck in the top of the motor and cant drain in time to keep the engine lubed. Might want to make sure all is well.

Finally got the right tool to pull the hub/axle apart from the old spindle, so I took a little side by side pic (my old spindle is on the right). Picture doesn't fully do it justice, but it's definitely toast. Thanks to @XPOTRPR for hooking me up with the straight one! Gonna have total chaos ship me a new bushing for the UCA mount, because this one is seized in there pretty good.

Yeah I've definitely heard the damage that could happen and didn't let it stay like that long at all cause I was paranoid. I drove like 50 miles home after that and haven't notice any negative changes.

It always makes me wonder how many of these are out in the wild when one shows up in our pallet stack at work.

And the day went flawlessly. Cool start, the health app caught 9000 steps before 9am, needed to remove the keys from the electrical cabinets when removing the EC400. No desert pinstriping on my machines.

    Out with the old

    In with the new.
