Sorry Kurt, sounds like a lousy rough weekend. Hopefully the week treats you better and you can get the truck back up and going.

I am still alive, confirmed by one of the heart Docs today! I was thinking about you this weekend, when they held the Lockhart Fly - In. Choppers around all weekend. Unfortunately, I did not attend, as I blew up the truck instead. Threw the belt, due to the water pump grenading. See above! I was just planning on putting some facelift stuff back on, and had my plans changed for me. LBR has been through a lot since I heard from you last!
Hope you're well, and what you been doing? Jeep - bus - nothing?

Glad to see you're still kicking! Funny thing I was thinking about you the other day too! I'm going to have to creep your build thread and see what I've missed. Did you get Dana 60's and an Atlas IV while I was on hiatus??

Juuuuust updating a few things on the build thread, quoted you there too :)

Just the stuff you helped me plan, with some changes. Gutted the inside, no Atlas rockets. Took a long time....

I got caught up in your thread finally! Are you still liking the 600lb springs? Did you get the ride quality you were after?

The 600's are finally breaking in, like the 700's wouldn't. It's getting there. But, I have to get Firestone to dial back some alignment, because I get some audible rub when I crank the wheel over. Since it's just "driveway" speeds, I'm not rushing, but does tell me I am getting a little settling. Which is fine. The 600's were the right choice for a PreRunner.

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Well, the AC guy is on his way back over - replaced the capacitor and it quit running again last night. Hope to be banging on the old water pump in a while, but my pinched nerve butt is killing me!

We're suddenly 'members" since our last guy sold his business to this new one. Priority service, we get! Pressure valve outside went south. He'll quote us up a new one.

    Flinging SUCESS!

Glad to hear it. I don't think I took into account the lack of front differential and 4wd hardware when we last talked about spring rates and weights :facepalm:but I'm glad the 600's weren't expensive or difficult to replace.

Where's it rubbing at? The fender flare when you turn the wheel?

If it's starting to settle more than you'd like you can spin the collar some to stiffen the spring back up a bit. If you need the wrench for that, lmk.
