Check that you haven't inverted the connection at the module. Even though there is a slot and pin to prevent this, brute force will over come physical barrier. I'm talking about the end cable going into the module pigtail.

Been in the mountains the past week so I’m just getting caught up on messages:

The benefits of the new harness are the switch capabilities. Having it relocated to the overhead panel area and not the a pillar is just an added bonus. I’m not entirely sure how many of these kits we’ve sold… but it’s a lot. And of those kits I’ve had to warranty maybe 9? That’s not enough to solely push a redesign. People asked for a switched version so I produced it :notsure:. If you think you have a bad harness then you should call VLEDS and not purchase another harness. There’s a warranty.

Does V1 share the same circuit with V2? I was wondering if it’s possible to add a V2 kit so It can be controlled indepently? This will also give me an option for dual colors. I didn’t get the V2 upgrade harness because I always have my dome/maps in the off position…

Thanks for the reply. I will wait to get the new harness and will go from there. I don’t think the harness is necessarily bad, but I also don’t think the bulk inside the A pillar is ideal for a reliable connection due to some of the extreme bends of the wiring.

Anyway, I appreciate your reply. I’ll see how things pan out with the new harness.

I appreciate the replies but still no joy. Actually pulled everything back out this morning and went over step by step again and still nothing when the interior lights are on via open door or switch. I'm going to ping VLED today and see what they say.

Remove the module and connect the "High" side to the LEDs string, let us know what you get.

    Yes exactly.

See above — bypass the PWM by plugging the high connector directly into one of the lights and open the door. Make sure the overhead console switch is in door mode or on. It’ll tell us where the issue is.

If I bypass the PWM and plug the light directly into the high side, the light works as expected. It comes on with the interior lights when I open the door or flip the switch to on, they go off if I let the lights timeout or flip the switch to off.

    FUBAR'd module:burp:
Would you post a pic on the HIGH input of the module? (inside receiving connector view)

Ya, considering that troubleshooting is part of what I do for a living, I'm a little disappointed I hadn't bypassed the module prior to being asked. :D

    Appreciate the help.

Seems ok, would you dare place a jumper to those pins and verify (for one last time) module output?
    or not...:D

Yep! Your PWM is shot. Give VLEDS a call today and tell them Kyle troubleshooted with you and determined you have a busted PWM (they’ll probably see this post).
