This is the first I've personally heard of this. It also strikes me as odd, as when we conducted all of our development testing on these, we ran the coilovers at max height and did not have any notes of excessive top out or noise.

Happy to help look further into this though! For those who are experiencing this please feel free to reach out to Dave at techsupport@eibach.com and I will let him know about the concern. If you haven't already done so, please check the back side of your shocks (at the base) you'll see a stamped part number and date code. Please have those numbers handy, as well as a measurement from the center of the hub straight up to the fender. Lastly if you can snag a couple photos of the perch position and top of the mount that would be helpful as well.

Lot's to ask, I know, but this will be helpful in getting you guys sorted out. And it would be requested by Dave in the long run.

You guys great great customer service is one of the reasons I chose you over the other guys. I'm very happy with my setup and I hope those who are unhappy can get fixed up.

Then there must be an issue with certain batches, or installations.

It literally sounds/physically feels like your slamming an anvil against the engine block.

Same here! I am below max ride height, sitting exactly 2" or so. Maybe less. I even got the 0.5" spacer just to achieve the same lift. I've removed my sway bar relocation block, did everything I could to see what's going on. I also got JBA control arms, so no way my control arms are hitting the coilovers. Still had that harsh hit or topping out feel. I hate it! Even my buddy had the exact same set up as me. And he hasn't adjusted his also goes through that same harsh slamming/topping out feeling. It's crazy. Eibach needa hear about this and make our moneyes worth. I can't be going back and fourth dumping money on another suspension that's almost or already pass 1k. Eibach needa make a recall or something. Ain't no way ima keep tearing apart my suspension again

Cool to see Eibach looking into the issue in detail and trying to diagnose it. I installed my kit right out of the box. I used the sway bar brackets and also added the 1” block in the rear. My setup rides great with no issues. Overall a great product. It’s tough to understand the issue some people are having when it’s so different from my experience. Someone definitely needs to capture it on video.

I'll try and get a video this week. And hopefully everyone can chime in.

And thanks Mark! Glad to have you on here, and will definitely send a email soon!

Curious to take a quick poll form everyone here ...

I have issues, and on the backside of the lower black anodized part of the assembly is a part number.

What are the two letters on the part number for you guys?

I have G/P on both sides, and I have the hard slam issue.

How many turns you had to make to lower it to 1.5" ? or what measurement of the exposed treads needs to be for 1.5" lift? Anyone knows? They come stock at 2.0 or 2.5" ?

For the 3rd gen tacoma testing, what's the max lift yall tested these with? Because out of the box at 2.5" it was when I encountered the issue, even after dropping it down to 2" of lift. It's not as bad anymore but it's definitely there . Only harsh if I go quick on speed bumps, even the smallest/smoothest speed bumps at 5+ mph. Even taking it on gravel trails is crazy, it'll rattle tf out of my truck like as if the interior would fall apart.

Hey Bryan, did you reach out to Tech support yet?

Don't crucify me here, this is off the record as Eibach and completely my personal opinion, but the instances you are mentioning almost sound like something is loose? A nut or bolt, etc. Are those with the issue using any top mount spacer?

No top mount spacer. Installed as they came out of the box. Everything is torqued to factory spec or Eibach spec.

Also mine out of the box provided 2 inches of lift in the front.
