Any concerns for the lights, such as need a reseal or broken tabs? I’ve been thinking of trying to retrofit mine.

 

Any 1st gen guys have any luck with buying “door clips(?)” off Amazon? Plastic clips that hold door panel to door. figured may get a faster response here then me scrolling through 1000 amazon options and hoping for a good tacoma review. Thank You.

I bought some off Ebay three years ago, 30 for $5.00. I just checked the listing and the seller no longer has them listed. If you search for "tacoma door trim molding clip" or "Nylon Trim Front Door" you will find some. They are not as good as OEM. They do not hold as well as OEM and are brittle and break easy if the panel is removed. If you can get them to seat into the door and don't remove the panel, they are fine. Part of the issue that I had was that I used Dynamat type material between the panel and the door. If I needed them again, I would just buy them from Camelback (90467-07085-B1, only $1.50) or Earnhardt. If you want to know the brand name of the Ebay item, I can post a picture of the package tomorrow.
