Yanked the driver door panel off this weekend and replaced the cheap foam rattle seal with some properly thick felt strips to get rid of rattles. So far so good.

Threw in the Z Precision cupholder this weekend. Muuuuch wider and deeper than the stock piece. Really nice build quality too since they're injection molded and have perfect fitment.

I made a rubber insert to reduce rattling and threw a layer of Noico on the underside to help insulate and reduce cabin noise.

    Oh look, another mod....
I did the same thing months ago. (See attached). The only thing on that list that I cannot remove or undo is the front bumper and detailing I had done to the truck. Everything else can be detached by unscrewing, un-mounting, popping off or peeling off with a little sweat equity. Would I? Nah...because I'd probably get ten cents on the dollar for what it's worth.

Currently, my total is hovering around $6,500

I need to do this, got a pic? I was imagining wrapping those wires with one sided sticky molding stuf.

I didn't take one. But when you pull the door panel apart you will see a very thin very weak foam strip running up and down the edges of both doors. This can be peeled off (in my case cleanly once you get it started) as one big strip. Then I replaced those entire sections with better, thicker felt strips. This is where most of the door rattles come from - rather than fixing them one by one doing the whole section seems to get rid of most of them. Just butted them right up against the edge of the door panel and it's just a hair thicker, eliminating those panel-to-door rattles.

Felt strips I used: - 2 Packs Felt Furniture Pads Heavy Duty Felt Strip Roll with Adhesive Backing Adhesive Felt Tape for Protecting Hardwood Floors Chair Wall Protector(120 x 1 x 0.12 Inch,Black) - - Amazon.com

The 2-pack is just a little more than enough to do 2 doors.

The wiring itself doesn't rattle too much, but the clips securing it do. Adding a bit of butyl deadening around those to secure them to the door better helps a ton.

Sheeeeeet that doesn't even cover my suspension lmao.

Damn. I knew I forgot items. Need to add console and glove organizers, light switch, relay harnesses, and key fob.

I didn't include accessories like the straps, shackles, or first aid kit. Maybe I should.

As far as I know they do not have any MTX support yet. This has been super popular though already so we might see more parts from them in the future. I would be in for deeper rear cupholders too if that's possible, those are pretty pathetic.

I did the Z Precision cup holder upgrade today. Took way longer than most because I have a center console safe that needs to come out to remove the panel with the cup holder. The safe won’t come out unless I remove the bottom of the center armrest. Then I also had to disconnect and reconnect my MESO stealth Pro shift knob. It was worth it though!

Yea its fairly standard everywhere....People backing out of a spot have to yield to oncoming traffic, just like someone pulling out from a street onto the main road....Must yield to oncoming traffic.

Hey - totally random to come across your post, but what's your setup in the backseat for your dog? Can't tell what's under his/her bed... Trying to figure out how to get my dog max space and support, while the backseats are in their default upright position - and noticed your pup looks well supported even over where the seats end. Thanks in advance

Anyone know it they’re runnin4taco grille lights light up when they unlock / lock the truck via fob?

I just took out my running4taco version of the pop and lock and noticed the change.

headlights are 2017 halogens with the running (L shaped) drls.

also drl is in the off position within the truck

He’s totally happy with the setup. It’s an Orvis hammock and a Yeti dog bed. The Yeti dog bed is great since you can take it out and use it when you go somewhere too.

On the SR / SR5 trucks where DRL and Turn are combined, there is some built in flashy flashy for grille lights which is actually rather hard to get rid of (needs a timer module really). I'm working on that option but it is almost fun to have them flash with hazards, I probably would want that on my OffRoad if it were easy to do (we'd need a logical AND for L and R turn signals which is doable but not super duper easy).

On TRD trucks with discrete DRL and Turn it's not expected for grille lights to flash with the fob, hazards or turns. Unless the truck somehow flashes parking light? Mine does not but I have an MT with H key.

I believe the r4t and fbc grille outputs _should_ work the same, it's just a pair of diodes on parking light and drl wires so effectively a logical OR. Parking lights are easiest to see in the sidemarker, DRL requires the truck to be on and parking brake dropped so easiest way is get close to a wall and look at the reflection.

My right taillight got busted in a recent accident this weekend. That’s probably what’s causing it. Only when right blinker is on do grill lights flash & as mentioned when I unlock / lock w fob.
