Picked up a slightly used MBRP 3” cat back off a short box for $130. Welded in a 14” chunk of pipe and painted it with black extreme heat paint. 53138279-9E37-4FAE-8BDE-1CA9FE95C548.jpg031786CF-EDCC-4C7D-AF74-4AD8D71797A9.jpg
Turned out pretty good and sounds way better.

Sorry I don’t have too much experience with the pro but I do know they are bigger being 2.5s. It took a lot to convince the wife to spend the money on the 2.0s :bananadead:

Cool. I think you’ll love the fox shocks. I got the PRO and had never driven one. It’s such a nice ride. They’ll break in and get even nicer

Installed the Winjet smoked LED tail lights, smoked sequential mirror blinkers, removed the spare tire, hacked off the stock exhaust so that it dumps over the axle, put some led pods in the rear bumper (not wired yet), debadged the “V6 & TACOMA” badges, put the smoked overlay on the amber part of the headlights, replaced the stock black & red “TRD 4x4” bedside stickers with all black ones, and lastly I installed seat jackers on both front seats..

MAN what a difference the seat jackers make. I was very skeptical at first, but being 6’3 I absolutely love how my whole thigh is supported now. Very, very nice upgrade.

I wondered about that…perhaps its best not to keep it installed all the time but rather only when needed. Thanks for the tip!

Garmin Mini 2. I'm really liking it so far. It is completely out of my field of vision when behind the wheel.

No, But it has to be pretty damn close i would think. I may keep it as a spare but i donno if its worth risking driving on or if it will start splitting.

Some prick fuck used to leave screws behind my tires, GTI. Had to put a plug in one, and always looked after that. Like 3 or 4 screws behind each tire at a time. Nowadays I’m glad I never caught the person. It would’ve gotten pretty ugly.

That sucks. It lined up with the groove in the tread just right, or wrong from your POV.

A coworker of mine ran over something in the road and ruined a tire. When they pulled the tire off the wheel, they found a 1/2"DIA x 6" long pipe nipple banging around on the inside. I didn't believe him until he showed me piece of pipe.

Yeh if i found out someone put that in my tire it was going to get ugly... I have cameras all around my house so when i found the blade combed through all the footage to see if someone around here did it but didnt see anything.

Its a shame you didnt have a pic of that lol

That sort of thing goes all over me. Keying someone's car or flatting someone's tires is evil. It's cowardly to boot.

Shit one time a 8 inch lag bolt penetrated a tire while I was driving. All of a sudden
I start hearing a repetitive noise and tire thumping. I pulled over and was like WTF

I had my suspicions as to whom it was. But when I told one person about it, the reaction that person had made me change my suspect. A very cowardly person by definition. Funny thing is. They might be reading this. So this is what I’ve got for that.
