    Linwood, I appreciate the props.

I like the JL, it does a fine job. I do find that it has trouble keeping up with my mids on some music with really fast and deep kick drums, Fear Factory for example. Seems like it separates. Could be a T/A situation though. Most of what I play through it, it pounds for the limited wattage it is capable of receiving. If I put my new gear in, I do not think it will be able to keep up without distorting at higher levels. We shall see. For what it is, being a shallow mount, and how it performs, I would recommend it to fellow Taco owners.

Hampton is out by Norfolk right? I might be swining by to see my Brother, in Norfolk. We could grab some beers and demo our set ups.

I totally want to do that this spring... that is freakin badass. What kind of max mounting depth are we dealing with there?

Hell yeah that sounds great!! When do you want to do it? I can put a get together together and we can all meet up. We have a pretty active community down here. The only problem is that I am in Columbia, SC for Army Recruiting School. I should be back around the 18th.

You'll get there man. Keep up the good work.
I think roughly 5 inches? It's kinda odd since it's angled so depending on how wide the magnet is the perceived depth changes...if that makes sense.

You have given me an idea! I have my amps setup the same way but never had a good idea for the top. Now where to find an extra plastic top like that.

I saw your post in another thread. I was wondering if you would post up in here. You don't have any issues with your bed moving and not staying perfectly linier with they cab? I would think that the box would have issues....But your setup is still INSANE!!! I love it!!!:D
