radio trouble

i have an09 sr5 im having trouble with the factory radio. it shuts of by itself and the volume can only be controlled from the steering wheel. anybody else having this problem?

 

I'll cut you some slack since it's only your 5th post. But if you'd used the search function, you'd find it's a common problem. The radio problems began in either the '07 or '09 model year (can't remember which it was). There was even a 3-month backlog on replacement radios at one point. So yes, common problem. They just don't make 'em like they did in '05.

 

My radio shut off randomly and was replaced by dealer. There is a TSB for this.
