Utah Meet and Greet/Trail Run or Cruise

Haha! Nope, no two planker here Tried it a few times but just like snowboarding way more! I may have misquoted, very possible. Sorry for the confusion. You ski?

 

Ohhh, haha no worries. No I snowboard and have never been skiing but would like to try it someday. I bit the bullet a few weeks ago and bought a pair of Burton "The Jeans" snowboarding pants that the US Olympic team wore in the 2010 winter games. And no, they werent cheap!!! I still have to try them out cause I got them in the mail recently and havent been on the mountain yet.

 

Yeah saw those, pretty cool looking! Burton is never cheap, mostly good gear. Well if ya ever go ride Utah, let me know, I'd be down for sure. Or ever in the Wyoming neighborhood, Jackson and Grand Targhee have had a great season so far! Total blast to ride with others. Heading down to Utah tomorrow for the weekend.

 

Yeah we will have to go shred for sure!! Most of my buddies ski and I'm the only one that boards. But we mostly hit up Park City Resort so I'm not sure if your familiar with their mountain but we really like it.

 

Wait so if I hope that there will be no snow, we're going to have more people?

 

Actually never been to the Park City resort, have been to the Canyons a few times. That place is pretty ok, mellow, I like all the bridges that you can cruise over and under. Yeah that would be cool to see Park City, especially if you know your way around. I usually hit up Snowbird, Solitude/Brighton. Went to Steamboat a few weekends back, amazing as usual!! I think they have the best trees one can imagine!

Yeah Park City Resort is way nice. Its more on the pricier side though cause its like $90 for a day pass if you dont get a discount ticket in Salt Lake City. You can get them for $69 down there so thats not terribly bad. We were even thinking about going this Saturday but we decided to go to the meet n greet instead.

 

Again, off topic, well if the snow is good, $100 isnt too bad. Steamboat was $98 but worth it overall. Next time you head up to there let me know!

 

Yeah we def will!! We should be up there again pretty soon. Possibly next Saturday if my buddies are up to it.

I won't make the trail run but I am planning on lunch with everybody.

 

off subject ____ i work for park city mountain resort and we have been averging almost 10,000 ppl a day and its only going to get worst this weekend thank god im off saturday there exspecting 13,000 to 15,000 what a zoo it was today!
however i would have to say if i left to o snowboarding outside of utah it would totally be Grand Targhee that place has the most epic powder cat skiing/snowboarding

 

I wont be able to this weekend, as my saturday is pretty much done for, but if someone wanted to go check out Rattlesnake with me next weekend, that'd be fun.

 

We could set up a mini-post-after meet for that weekend
