Ive had these installed for a while and tried to get them aimed by loosening these hex bolts but i cant seem to get them pointed down enough.
I have a lift that leveled the truck, so i am wondering if that few degrees of angle is playing a role in that.
these are so bright, i really want them to be aimed properly.
Anyone have any tips or tricks?

you may be able to get more down angle if you adjust the bracket that holds the lights

i have the elites so my experience is limited with those but i had to aim mine way up to get proper throw

When you loosen those bolts on either side you're able to get them to move, correct? I just want to make sure that you are getting SOME movement, and that you're not binding somewhere.

Once we have that established what I want you to try is to slide them BACK. The plastic bracket is slotted so you might be having trouble moving them down due to making contact with the front bezel and the bumper body. Slide them back a bit in the bezel in order to get free up/down play. Once you get them aimed to the point where you like them by hand push them forward as much as possible to close the gap between the SS3 bezel and the lip of the bumper. There is always going to be a small gap, but you should be able to get it pretty tight.

    Yes, they do.
there is a little contact between the cone on the light and the bumper bezel.

Yeah, slide the light assembly back in THIS (highlighted pink) section then try to see if you have more up/down movement enough to get into spec.
