Intereting. Wonder what the single unit pricing is.
And also what kind of vibrations that might induce since it would be hard mounted.

How are the Honda washer nozzles? Do they spray better than the crappy stream of the original Tacoma nozzles?

Replaced the driver’s door exterior door handle. Sprayed silicone on all the moving guts of the door. Things are moving so much better now. I hope that now I won’t have to worry about the handle breaking when I go to open the door.

They definitely do spray a lot more even, I'm not sure if I just need to somehow adjust them differently but they do spray a hair wider than the area covered by the wiper blades (really not a big issue). I would say it's a very worthwhile upgrade with how easy they are to pop in.

    Swap progress update -

Diff is in. After taking a step back and looking at it a bit more, went the route of using the transmission jack to support it while angling up to help line up that rear mount bolt/pin/whatever it is. Used a 2 ton jack stand to help support the diff tube. Front mount bolts in, secured rear mount and torqued them to spec. Done. No removing engine mount here.

Trying to get the driver side CV in and that is turning into another :frusty:.

Will work on it more tomorrow. Done for the day.

Do yours also spray all the way to the very edge of the windshield or does that just mean I need to adjust mine down a bit?

You definitely can adjust it. Driver side is fine but the passenger side does spray a little over the side. Nothing major or I would've taken the time to adjust it. If you do any adjustments, take it slowly. A little goes a long way lol. It took more than a few adjustments for me to set the driver side how I wanted it. Another reason why I've chosen to not mess with the passenger side.

    +1 to the bold, LOL

One of the things I found was that the "perfect" spray in the driveway ended up hitting way too low on the windshield when I was on the highway due to the (obvious to me now) wind that pushes the spray into the windshield. Of course, you can't go too high either, b/c you still want it to work on a dusty trail...where you're presumably going more slowly. Finding that middle ground was the "lots of adjustments" for me.

When installing the CV axles make sure the gap on the C clip is at the top. It make it a lot easier to slide in.

I've always had luck tapping the axle in with a big hammer, put the axle nut on the end so you don't bugger up the threads. Few good taps and it will slide right in. Having the c clip facing up with definitely make it easier, little grease there will help keep it from rotating on you.

I always used the play in the tulip to use the CV like a slide hammer itself. Typically pops right in that way for me.
