Hmm. I mean, I'm not opposed. I have 4 more filets (so two more sandwiches, 2 per). And can be convinced to get more.

I'm not a huge fish guy but these are pretty good. I think doing them without the typical dumping of tartar sauce helped.

Could just run both. Most GMRS radios are pretty tiny. Could realistically just get a handheld gmrs radio for the time being too.

CB - used by trucks/industry, great. I drove out to LA and back and the most I got out of it was truckers bitching at each other at merge points. Not super useful, wasn't worth it for me to keep it.

But. Either CB or GMRS is only as good as the group that's using it. If you go out and the group you're with is using CB and you're using GMRS.... Crap.

Other than NMW I don't know many around here that DON'T have GMRS/need CB. Some will use CB as default but if you only have GMRS, they'll use GMRS :notsure: and NMW - most roads use MURS

Get a handheld for each and call it a day. My GMRS setup is just a decked out handheld.

Haha it's my quarterly check in. Yeah, honestly, gmrs is such a short wavelength that going from truck to truck in a convoy really isn't an issue for it. You'd have to be really stretched out to notice a difference between a mobile gmrs rig and hand held.

Both are better than CB though . But yes, the best comms are whatever the group is using.

I would prefer to run one setup and it seems most of yall are running gmrs though I know like 4 or 5 with CB. I just want to have a PA speaker to yell at ppl lmao

I would get in so much trouble with that.

Also keep an eye on wiring. There's a way that you can have the CB in to PA out. And if you do that and accidentally leave it on. In a parking lot. Blasting the .... Scholarly discussions of trucks driving by. You get dirty looks.

That wasn't me. Second hand. But hilarious to think about.

Lou's custom exhaust... not sure on all locations but I use them for work generators and my own vehicles.

Good thought, I actually called a couple of local ones. Haven't crawled under to really look but I think it might be able to be patched in.
