It's getting to be that time of year.

Had my heaviest payload in the bed, just shy of 1,800 lbs.
Not bad for a short bed crew cab, the only after market suspension part I have on it are Sumo Springs everything else is stock.

That wood might actually be too dry.

I bought a lot last year that thr previous owner had cut down trees all over the 20 acres, cut them all into 16" rounds, and stacked them. All good... Except he did it a decade or so ago and just never brought them up to the house.

The wood at the bottom was rotten and the wood on top was so dry it wouldn't even heat the stove and the chimney up. It would burn like a mother but smoke the place out because it wouldn't heat the chimney enough to create a draw.

Ended up putting the Tacoma to work pulling about three cords of wood from various piles and burned it all up in a bonfire I had going for days.

Split a bunch up for kindling but there was just so much of it the rest wasn't worth keeping.

Yep, it sure could have been. But this was lucky wood. We tested it last fall, and used up a bunch last winter through -12F and lower overnights, to good effect.

We started the eve with pine seasoned a couple years, to get us a crackling fire to relax in front of. Followed that at bedtime by banking the coals, cranking back the air intake on the fireplace insert, and putting in one or two of the fruit wood rounds or quarters. Those ignited and kept the house warm all night as they baked away, usually leaving us a few coals at daybreak to kick up a fire for coffee and tea. It's so nice to not have to get up at 3am to put more wood on.

There’s about 4000lbs of corn in the bin.
Tacoma doesn’t like towing it too much.
I usually try to use my F250 for this. farmer was cutting that day and it was just a few miles away from my hunting property.

Hauled all of the leftover beverages from my brothers wedding. Under that top row was an entire row of busch light cases. No idea how much it weighed but filled it up full! Do you think they bought enough:rofl:
