    @01x4

Wife told me to open the package UPS just dropped off for her (she's at work).

    20220927_150750.jpg

She bought one of the keyboards I had saved in my Amazon shopping list

I had keychron, ducky, steelseries, and a few more versus book marking each site.

Guess she got it for me as a surprise caus we were talking about the extra bedroom and turning it into a small office.

Now I've got an extra Logitech G810 keyboard I don't want or need.

Kind of over Logitech stuff after having used it for over 20 years.

Oh damn, that's a nice surprise! Enjoy! Anxious to hear how it is and how the sensitivity settings work out. I've been very curious about that beast.

Not a whole lot smaller, but I never use ten keypad so it'll be nice to see that go.

    20220927_151645.jpg

Aren't the keys, even individually, adjustable? It's the PRO version.

Yeah you can adjust each individual key, which is crazy. I would think being able to adjust a whole board for work/gaming/etc would be enough of a feature but they took it next level.

One thing at a time

Trying to cleanse my G810 of the sins I've committed with q-tips and rubbing alcohol. :anonymous:

Some sins are too great to drown in alcohol.

I drowned my laptop keyboard in beer one drunk night during skool... the enter key on the numpad side still sticks down no matter how much rubbing alcohol I use :pout:

I need to take it apart but I don't trust myself to not break it further

Same on an IBM model M. Those things are easy to take apart though so it was no biggie.

The Microsoft keyboard they got me at work though got a single piece of something under a key. I popped off the key to liberate it and was never able to get it back on :(

Anyone going to want a G810 keyboard?

    Thinking $100 shipped.

Keycaps getting hand washed as we speak.

Every key works, not to mention the lighting as well.

@Kwikvette Current Keychron rotation...don't use the K1 (bottom one) much at all anymore though unless the other two are dead and I'm just waiting. Going to switch things up soon though, been itching to try something new.

Man I've been so out of the game. Last couple months been pretty rough. Had a string of family health issues and having to help my parents downsize and move to a more "age appropriate" living situation has taken a toll.

No welding (or grinding, lol), barely drove the truck at all except to move a bunch of my parents' junk out of the house. Hell, barely managed to ride the moto except to take an MSF course last weekend. I'd like to say I'm back, but damn, just got saddled with more work stuff, too. Exciting stuff, just more busierest

    Adulting sucks.
