well on 255/85R16 Cooper ST MAxxes, they're fine, however i run the OTT7 tune from @dave82at over at the OVtune for Ontario thread.

TLDR: OTT7 has 4 version of itself and i have 2 at any given time. slapping the ECT button brings me up in how agressive the tune is. @TacoPandaTRD has the most agro one.

It drives fine, had a custom version of it that smooths out the gearing but certainly is fine with the 33s.

don't bother with re-gearing. Just get the Dana60 off of @tacoma16 and throw that in the back

Remember stock gearing on 2nd gen is 3.73, even taller than our 3.91 ratio.

How do you like the ST Maxxes btw? They’d seemed to have fairly good reviews so I figured they’d be the best option, look cool too.

Best tire for the truck if you plan to wheel it. I've not heard anyone cut a sidewall or destroy one.
they also survived the Dempster highway and according to @honkonbobo they seem to take him all across america without issues

Yeah that’s basically what I want. A tire that’s good enough on the road (just as good as the stock Goodyears would be fine by me), tough as hell (I’ve popped 3 of the stock ones. Tire warentee for the win!) and amazing off-road. Sounds like these are what the doctor ordered.

I'm on the second/third set. Amazing tires! Wouldn't but anything else now.

~15k kms with a ton of aired down kms and so far so good.

i did have one tire develop a split in the side that followed the bead around for a 3rd of the tire (still held air fine). i bought the tires in Utah in May and discovered this in Colorado in August. i took it to the nearest Cooper dealer and they replaced it under warranty no questions asked so their customer service seems solid too.

Been watching...all that area is all my stomping grounds. Used to live on Lemon Bay. Got married in a suit I bought at Port Charlotte mall. Watched shuttle launch from St. James City, Pine Island that my folks owned....

Sad to watch really...but can't look away

    ummm .....ya.
Lots of people in a sad state down there as the cost of flood/hurricane/tornado insurance is crazy. Those who can't afford it lose absolutely everything.
