Check your ac drain, squeeze it and shove some wire or a zip tie in there

Yeah I understand that but what I don’t get is what the trucks’ target humidity is.
Throughout its first winter pressing auto turned on A/C what seemed like 90% of the time, and I’m almost positive humidity wasn’t an issue when it was below 0.
I’m just glad turning A/C off doesn’t disable auto and the truck still achieves the target temperature. Shit is super fancy coming from a 1st gen for sure

i'm betting they are going to tell me they want to replace the evaporator/housing and they will have to remove the entire dash to get to it...:(

i can see a tiny seam where it seems to be coming from. kind of tempted to put some silicone over it to see if i can seal it up but i will wait until i get the dealer to look at it.

Ok, bringing a dead thread back to life here. I’ll add mine to the ones having the issue. Mine is running out of the passenger side floor vent, and down the sides of it. Seems to do it all the time when the AC is on auto. Recirc on doesn’t effect it, drove 2 hours like that and it didn’t change it. Cabin air filter is clean and dry, don’t think it’s coming from the cowl. Took drain tube off, cleaned it all the way thru. It was clean regardless. No sunroof. So frustrating. Has anyone who posted here earlier gotten a resolution to the problem?

i still have the issue. they put some silicone on the evaporator box housing but it still sweats a bit. it's 90% improved though.

I feel your pain. My issue is under the mat in the back left corner of the passenger side. I think my leak happens when I drive my truck.

If all the water isn’t coming out the tube it has to go somewhere else. There might still be something there that just moves aside and flops back. It’s pretty easy for something to fall through the fan when the filter gets replaced. I’m going to have to vacuum out a bunch of bay berries sitting on my filter through the cowl before I can exchange it.

The water is also coming out of the drain tube.

I have the same issue, it started in July. After driving for at least an hour, it drips after I turn the truck off. I took it to the local dealership, the first time they let it sit for too long and everything dried up.

after I sent pictures, I spoke to the service advisor & technician. Technician said it is a known issue & design flaw. There is no TSB or anything in writing. The field fix is to pull the plastic box surrounding the evaporator cut and and reseal the box for about $2000. The called Toyota financial since I have the extended warranty and the claim was denied.

I haven’t had the opportunity to verify with Toyota financial or customer care.

Guess I’ll deal with it. That’s a pain in the ass.
