I've lost count. The only thing I can think of is me and I can't remember, if it was either Dan or SJ went through a mud puddle instead of doing a really tight part of the trail. That puddle was a bit deeper than anything I recall having been through before.

Busy day today. Ran out of daylight last night at Veterans Memorial Park in Crivitz and stopped back this morning. Hiked to the non-advertised falls from behind campsite #8, was not disappointed!

The onto Strong Falls County Park to see…well, Strong Falls. I’ve been there before but missed a few specific photos and was in the neighborhood. Never a bad place to visit.

Found an unmarked rapids section further west up the Thunder River and took some quick shots:

Went looking for Taylor’s Falls down an old logging road and unexpectedly got to test my Taco’s capabilities. This one was a bit sketchy…

    1D808FEC-219C-4687-B331-74603678EA8C.jpg

But I ended up finding the falls and it was totally worth the trouble. These are much bigger than it probably looks in the photos. Got some drone footage too, dropped my lens cap in the river and waded in after it. Good times.

Multiple rapids and small falls everywhere on this section of river:

Went to a spot on the Pike River where I have found multiple waterfalls. Spotted one on Google Earth that isn’t in any of the published books and decided to put boots on the ground. I was right, this one is “new” to the book authors but has a fairly well-traveled footpath to it. Easy to drive right by it.

Now out of daylight. Had to go into town and mail a birthday card so I don’t get in trouble. Drinks at Athelstane Pub - they know how to make an Old Fashioned the real way, score! Camp soon then wake up and do it all again! Not much cell reception way up north here, probably going into the UP and probably even less service. I want some fresh pastys (now that I type that I want a fresh pasty, fresh cheese curd, and an Old Fashioned all together mmmmmm).

Edit: Correction it’s the Amberg Pub. I now have a second tall glass and some Gardettos! Someone is having their 25th anniversary here and they bought me shots, it’s turnt up for a Tuesday night hahaha!

That may have been me if you're talking about when we were out with @Supr4Lo guiding us Saturday. I recall being very surprised when I went into a puddle and the driver's side sunk way low for a moment. You and I opted out of the tight spot with our limos.

Finally got the rack and tent back on the truck last night. Hoping to get out a few times this fall since I haven’t all summer!

Yeah, if anything killed my alternator, that was it. You might want to clean yours out if possible. Then again, mine could have just gone out from old age.
Btw, did you get any pictures of my truck doing manly stuff?

    35's are not big enough.
Girl at work has 35's on her Jeep. After a weekend up by Mountain hitting mud holes, her Jeep is running like crap.

    Oops, It's a Jeep.
