Been to Wiesn (Oktoberfest to the flatlanders) in München 3 times.
Would like to get my sorry old ass back there again.

We should plan a group trip over there then, and drink to our heart's content!

Its a great experience and definitely bucket list worthy. Most people around here haven't been. Also, do not be fooled by the lighter German beer; it will literally knock you on your ass after enough steins are consumed whether it be the alcohol or the uneven bench you just happen to be standing on with your friends in a bier hall. Think if you went with your family it would still be incredibly fun, just more responsible until the kids are sleeping.

 

Working on getting the final version done. A couple more cuts and one or two bends.

Was behind a black Taco, lifted, black cap.
But it also had a body lift, snorkle, wide tires...

Good morning.

Thinking my mower is not long for this world. Smokes like an old diesel on startup and sounds...not so good.

Anybody with a Honda and an opinion or a Toro with that personal pace feature?
My wife said it will probably be the last mower I buy. I hope she means we'd be downsizing...or should I sleep with one eye open?...

 

I'm gonna go with option 2, Dennis.

 

Yeah, that was my thought too. If she says don't bother picking up any milk I'll know for sure.

 

I am very happy with my Huskavana (sp?) AWD walk behind. It has a Honda engine. The self-propelled feature works great.

 

My current mower is a Husqvarna...it's been a real workhorse. Thought about the AWD, hilly backyard. How's the maneuverability with the AWD?

It’s as maneuverable as any 22” inch self-propelled mower. Releasing the drive throttle while the mower is still going forward will disengage the drive system, making it easier to pull the mower backwards, as you maneuver it.

I had a Toro Personal Pace mower before this one. The drive cables needed frequent adjustment. The aluminum deck was a nice feature, which lightened the machine making it easy to move around. After just a few years of once-a-week mowing of my lawn one of the plastic wheels broke. I gave it away and picked up my current mower, which is a beast.

I don’t know if my model mower is still being made.

 

Option 2, but just in case I recommend sleeping with a Josie wales stove plate for armor!
