Weird question, but does anyone know where one could sell a couple of catalytic converters? I deleted both cats on my GX a while back and they are just sitting in a box. Would like to get a couple bucks for them but not sure where.

I’ve sold mine to just guys on Facebook who post in car groups that they buy them. As far as locally not sure to be honest

Thanks. I don't have FB though, so was hoping there was some place local. May have to look in the valley and double up on another trip at some point.

Hey everyone, I just moved to Bend from Sun Valley, Idaho. My girlfriend and I are pretty stoked! Both of us have new jobs, just bought a house etc. Figured Id reach out and see if there are any trail runs/camp trips/meets to join in on.

Negative. I'm based in Portland but travel to Bend every couple of months to tune Tacomas, 4Runners, and Tundras. Fun fact - I was born and raised in Kailua-Kona.

Shootz… beautiful place, was home for 8 years.

A lot of tacos over here in Bend, nothing like HI but still quite a few.

We’ve been planning this move from HI to the mainland for quite a while. I’ve had so many people tell me that I would love it in Bend. LOL even my postman in Kona told me I should check it out!

We left WA too late last year and due to bad weather didn’t visit Bend on our way south, ended up towing our trailer 6k miles in a big circle & back to WA this summer.

Regrouped in WA and now we’re here, tbh the thought of spending the winter in a tin can doesn’t sound too appealing though.

Hello Bend’rs… I’m coming down from Vancouver Canada to visit CVT for a RTT. I’ll need come down morning prior; and then install of a few things there on a Wednesday morning.

    Anyone comfy recommending the following?

    1. Hotel/Motel/B&B for a single night.
    2. Breakfast Spot that opens early and isn’t McDonald’s lol.
    3. Best spot for a grocery buy as I’m then heading to the coast for a few days of camping/surfing.

Any helpful direction is surely welcome.

    Thank-you!!

    1. is really any as long as it isn’t blatantly ghetto. Campfire hotel is where some buddy’s have stayed at.
    2. McKay cottage is good. That’s more of a boujee breakfast place though. Jakes diner is more traditional classic style
    3. All pretty much are good

Sadly not really. Thread had gone dead for a bit but seems like more activity recently so hopefully someone sets one up

    1. Skip the motel and camp one night behind Phils trail system on blm land (free). Lots of US forest service trails to mess around on and primitive spots to pick from. Only a 10 min drive into town from there if you don’t wander too far back. Or there is the Motel West. Stayed there once this past winter for a ski trip. I don't remember anything particularly bad about the place, just that it was cheap.
    2. I personally like The Breakfast Club. Good food with diner vibes and usually no waiting to get seated. Kinda across town from my camping recommendation though, but really close to the Motel West.
    3. Market of Choice or Newport Market are really nice grocery stores. Be forewarned - they are expensive.

I’m in for a meet up, even something low key… a beer somewhere with good peeps on blm land…

We’ve decided to try Bend out for a month or so, currently camping down in LaPina SP but will be based at Crown Villa rv park in Bend for the duration.

This sounds very good indeed. I’ll be sleeping in. My truck bed out of hotel but I’m happy to have extra beer money.

Awesome! Will give it a go all things dependant.

Just was in Cannon Beach a few weeks ago for 5 days. So costs are somewhat known in the upscale of anything.
