Yeah, thats true, but they showed it in spec and couldnt explain why the tires were cupping. Turned out to be the toothpick suspension that was on the truck.

It's wild how you had those issues but there are plenty of guys that actually off-road their stock suspensions and don't have issues. Just goes to show build quality I guess, I guess Hitachi and Bilstein don't make them like they used to

Yeah, I do zero offroad and my truck bounced all over the road and cupped the tires. I think the bouncing is more of a double cab long bed issue than anything as I have talked to others that have the same issue.

You'd think with it being longer it would be more stable.

Its something to do with the wheelbase and the natural waves in the road. Ive seen it with other cars too.

Same, back when I had my LJ all the TJ guys were up in arms over poor road surfaces because they look like clown cars hopping around when they would drive too fast.

What is the furthest someone has seen out of their TRD Pro shocks? At the point of replacement, what was the culprit? Leaky shock, bouncy ride, etc?

Thanks for all the posts gentlemen. Enjoy your Sunday Night. Go Saints.

I've heard the PRO fox shocks take some time to break in and will soften just a bit from brand new. Is that true and how long does that take?

This is true for all shocks and it depends on weight of the vehicle and driving style and mileage put on the shocks.
