You got the trail limo now. Last year, I was kinda happy that I had a small lift. I think you could get there, but there are some interesting breakovers.

@WrecklessAbandon get up there often. Thoughts?

 

It's a pretty wide trail, so pinstripes aren't an immediate concern. Ground clearance is a bigger issue. What size tires and skids?

 

All stock TRD OR (sheet metal skid and P265/70R16) except for the addition of a talons garage cat protector (1/4" aluminum). Also it's a DCLB trail limo.

 

All you need for that is rain boots

 

I would not recommend that, others might agree or disagree, but it's not a just a quick jaunt up the mountain. The possibility of damage is not only possible but highly likely. There are a couple tight corners, but clearance is going to be the biggest hurdle

Lol... I tried to wade out in my fishing boots last year and nearly got stuck mid calf in the mud... super soft bottom... just the way I like em.

 

I'll meet you guys at the ranger station (or whatever it is) right at the turn off for the trail at 1130ish. There might be a 4runner meeting up with us.

I would be nervous with the DCLB and no armor due to the breakover angle. With rock stacking and maxtrax it would be doable though.

It’s official I’m out. Flywheel can’t be resurfaced so I have to wait for URD to ship another one. Glad I paid the extra to get my clutch shipped by tomorrow. These things never go as planned.

I've heard that FWs can get hard spots in different areas. I'm no machinist (I just watch them on YouTube), but if that happened to yours, I could see getting chatter and chunks coming off?
