I would really like to have the gauges listed above in my truck. Everything I find about analog gauges for tacos is 2nd gen. Can someone help me out? I have looked into the ScanGauge 2 and all that, I would rather have clean analog gauges somewhere in the cabin. I would also accept an ultra gauge setup but only if there is a clean way (no Velcro or windshield mounts) to mount it to the dash where it’s easy to see. Thanks

Analog is about 35 years in the past man. Sorry. I do understand but the world converted to digital.

Gotcha, that’s too bad. Analog can look so good, guess it’s time to get an ultragauge!

Lots of people still use analog/mechanical gauges because of the lag some digital gauges have. Watching a needle is also sometimes easier than LED lights. All depends on your preferences but analog is certainly not dead.

Yes, it is, especially in the world of business and manufacture, where 99.9% of all pressures, flows, and temps are needed to actually make decisions and monitor for safety.
Maybe in the nostalgia world, not in the real world. Using a transducer, that is more accurate, that can log data, versus a glycerin filled gauge that only gives you the reading at one point in time? Lol that.

Buy a set of Autometer analog electrical/mechanical gauges and set up the sensors for them. It will be a bit of work and would likely require welding a bung in your trans pan. Lots of people continue to use analog gauges. I like them better than the digital ones. The problem will be where in the cab you are going to place them. A lot of people use an A pillar mount. I think there is an air bag in there, so you wouldn’t want to interfere with it.

I typically use trans temp, oil temp, oil pressure, vacuum, voltage depending on what’s going on. My last truck had trans temp, oil temp, vacuum, and air pressure for the OBA system. The factory voltage and oil pressure gauges were accurate and readable, analog types, in the dash, so no need to replace them. That truck had a deep pan with a sender bung, so it was easy to add the gauges. I like this setup because the gauge information gives you an idea of how the engine is working. You can tell a lot by vacuum, temp, voltage, and pressure sweeps. Slow voltage recovery after starting? Your battery may be going bad. Abnormal vacuum fluctuations, you may have a bad valve. Oil pressure slow to rise, or trans temp spikes, that all tells a story and Can help you get ahead of a problem before you get stranded.

It’s a preference thing. You will find many race cars continue to use analog gauges. With some, they are a backup because they are sending telemetry via the digital setup. For me, I’ll take analogue gauges any day of the week and twice on Sunday. It’s disappointing how few gauges are on new cars, but many people have no idea what is what with them.

Word of caution, never use a mechanical oil pressure or fuel gauge in the cabin. If you have ever seen an old school hot rod with gauges on the cowl outside the car, it’s because they are mechanical oil or fuel gauges.

I'm sure you are aware that 3rd gen engine does not have oil pressure and temp sensors..

The hardest part is going to be making it look clean. On my second gen I have the a pillar mount for manual trans and crawlbox temps, but i don't see anything available on the market for you 3rd gens on the a-pillar. That airbag would be a concern but you'd probably be able to squeeze a gauge or two in with these single mounts. I imagine it will be difficult to make it not look like garbage.

Here is a steering wheel mount option from URD that doesn't look too bad.

Easy enough to toss a drain plug sensor on there for temp. Pressure i guess you'd have to drill baby drill.

Like I said, nostalgia. Sure, as a backup to digital, but analog only tells you now. Digital can record the past and predict the future. That is how it is done in the real world.

Not sure how or why you think this is relevant. The OP has no need to record data. He wants to see it.
