Not bad honestly. The Canadian blended whiskey is just rebranded Crown Royal as far as I can tell, and $18.99 for 1.75L. Their more expensive “connoisseur” whiskeys are pretty decent too, can’t remember the names of the ones I’ve tried though.

My buddy found these Weller special reserve in these old bottles. Can anyone say if Buffalo trace is starting to use the old style bottle again. Or is this old bottle in old whiskey? Thanks.

I'm no Sazerac employee, but that's definitely the old label. I hadn't seen news of any throwback uniforms.

Good Lord! That selection is amazing, but the prices not so much lol.

I did a quick google search and didn’t see anything about BT releasing retro bottles. The plastic cap is the only thing that makes me wonder if it’s old or not

200 or so for the first one...not sure what the second one cost because a buddy bought it for an upcoming camping trip and he didn't want his wife asking questions

Jacksonville, FL…see far right. Maybe I should’ve bought it, it was something like $130. There was also Decadence in a lot of stores. Finished in maple syrup barrels.

I really enjoy this one for the price. I also got the triple mash and wasn’t a fan of the first pour. Imma give it a second chance soon and see if I was having an off day or it’s just not for me.

I don't trust triple mash. I strongly suspect Brown-Forman accountants did the math one day and found wastage costs on mash could be reduced by dumping the odds and ends toget her and having the label suggest it's a special recipe.

Kind of like yesterday's fish fillet special becomes todays fish in the seafood chowder when its left over.

Because it's Brown-Forman, and they are fucking ruthless.

had it back in January as part of a flight at some fancy bar, i was going into it thinking how it was going to be terrible, was actually quite nice. the age definitely softened the scotch aspect, drank more like an American to me. Price is steep, sat on shelves here forever, might still be around for all i know. sorry it was awhile ago not much more i remember.

it was in a flight with thomas handy and russels 2002 for like $120
