Just put a set on 24 hours ago. So far so good.

-Not appreciably louder than the stock Goodyears on pavement
-Fling rocks but not bad for an AT. Glad I put on a set of Rokblokz at the same time though
-Good bite while climbing in 4Lo
-Very sure-footed on the gravel highways. Much more confident in the truck at speed
    -Look dang good
-They're E loads but ride nice. Though I do lose a bit of acceleration but nothing extreme

Looking forward (somewhat) to trying them out in snow.

SOME look cool.. lol You always know the type of guy driving it too..

Looks good! Love that colour. Agreed on the gravel. We drove about 60kms on a fast paced gravel "hwy" and had the time of our lives! 4HI, TRACTION CONTROL OFF. Very planted and confident. New suspension on all four corners helped too. Tossin' rocks like crazy tho (no mudflaps with -38 offset wheels)

I didn’t realize there was a thread for the ATXs until just now. I’ve been running them on my truck for about 2,500 miles now and I absolutely love them.

Maybe a tiny bit louder than the stock Toyo open country h/t tires that came on the truck but it’s really not noticeable. The traction is amazing on dry and wet pavement. Haven’t hit any trails or snow yet with the tires.

Like someone else has already said, you really can’t beat them for the price. Much cheaper than the KO2’s and other competitors, at least they were when I bought them. They also had superior reviews to all the other competitors when I was shopping.

Unless something changes, I’ll be buying another set when these wear down.

Thanks I forgot about this thread. Have had my Grabber ATX on for about 15k miles now. 265/70/17 in C load range. Love everything about them, hard to imagine another tire could be better for all around usage. Great gas mileage and quiet, so far have given me complete confidence in their on-road and off-road capabilities in all weather conditions. Shocked really how good they are.

Previously had BFG KO2 which are heavy and ride like trash in E load. Also had a used set of Duratracs in C load and they are super noisy (somewhat expected, they are a mud tire disguised as an AT). Gas mileage with either of these was also worse by 2-3mpgs which is huge.

Incorrect. They don't advertise a C load range model but they do exist. Here's a really crappy photo of mine (best I can do right now since I'm still at work).

Did your AT3's also dry rot incredibly bad for their age? I joined the ATX (on Tacomas) club also this past week because I grew tired of Cooper telling me this rot was "acceptable".

Have a set of 31x10.50 ATX's on our Jeep LJ too.

I honestly don't think there is a better "all purpose" tire out there.

Hey yes they were getting bad I felt like they didnt really last super long. I couldnt get through another winter with them either. I am loving my ATX they are heavy though and I did take a MPG hit. I would see if you can run the non E rated? Last I looked that only came in 17s so maybe you get new rims too...

    Edit
Didnt read you already got them. I hope you enjoy.

I did want to get new wheels, particularly the "SEMA" TRD 17" wheels but the costs and my other hobbies wouldn't allow it. The 265/70R16 ATX is not an "E" range tire. I believe it's listed as standard load and the weight matches the OEM tire, while being a bit taller (i.e. correct) than the Coopers I had. Had a bit of snowfall yesterday and they are a huge improvement over the Cooper.

Sadly I torn the sidewall on my AT/2 and of course they are no longer available anywhere in the country. I had the full replacement warranty from @Discount Tire so do you think the closest replacement would be the AT/X instead? They said they would give me a mileage discount on the 3 and a full replacement on the 1. Or should I look into Toyo/KO2/etc...jeez, the AT/2 was such a great tire...

I had 4 sets total of the AT2 across 3 different vehicles. I currently have the ATX on the family hauler (Expedition) and love them just as much as the AT2. If you were happy with the AT2, you won't be disappointed in the ATX.

Do you know if there is a comparison between the two, or perhaps you remember the important things? Like the AT2 had stud holes and the ATX doesn't, or the winter road ratings, etc?

As far as I know, it is the same tire with an updated sidewall. I just checked mine and they have stud holes and the mountain snowflake. I believe same 60k warranty too.
