Todays project, learn in one day how to maintain this cooling system from the guy who has been doing it for the last 12 years. Hopefully it’ll be easy, after today I won’t touch it till next June. Also trying to find the elements for this motor drive, apparently they are hard to find and we just used the last 12 we have.

 

This morning was rough, 40-50mph gusts, heavy rain. Then a lull whered you'd almost think it was a normal day. Rain has picked back up, steady.
I'm glad I had the tree work I had done this summer and also glad I live in one of the highest elevated areas in this county. Flooding will hurt some in my area for sure.

 

@six5crèéd I asked a couple manufacturers for quotes, that I can send to the store on Highway 66 S. Seems like the s/s really was an oddball thing, but there is companies that make them. It will just be to order and might have a longish lead time.

 

My wife's not the problem. I don't think my neighbors would appreciate it. or the city cops.

 

I got lucky, the berm was here when we bought the place. Here's a couple of old pics of the set up down range. The round plates hanging on the bottom are ar500 for centerfire, the rest are .22 only. The spinners pop out for punching paper like below.

 

Pellet guns have come a long way. They should be legal and quiet to shoot. Don't quote me on that though ha.

 

So far it’s just lots of rain and some wind, we’re on the east side of Orlando, so hopefully it won’t be too bad by the time it gets to us. We’re supposed to feel the bad stuff this evening and through the night.
My yard is really low lying, so I prepped my shop by loading everything onto my trailer and putting it in there. Boarded all up and went to a friends house with a block house. hoping that my preparation pays off.
my sister lives in key largo and says it wasn’t bad.
