Body Tilt - After truck was on car stands

    Need some help, i'm freaking a bit. Put the truck on stands for a week while I had wheels powder coated and new tires mounted. Got them back on today, lowered it and now have an inch difference between passenger and driver side between body and wheels.

    Help? Is it something simple like just letting it settle or did I jack something up?

    Pictures don't have much perspective i know. I've got 6 inches between wheel well and wheel on the driver side and 7 inches on the passenger side.

    King 2.5" extended travel coilovers with compression adjusters, Camburg UCA's, King 2.5" rear shocks, TRD 1st gen CAI.
    looks like the "taco lean" its common on our trucks. most people think its because the battery and gas tank are on the driver side, i dont personally dont think thats the cause... but anyway, are you sure it didnt already have a lean and you just didnt notice it before you put it on stands?

    Yeah that looks like the taco lean to me as well. Give it some time to settle and it might get better. I wouldnt freak out if I were you.

    you could also buy a 1/4" spacer for the driver side to even it out... or just live with it, like i do :D

    Truth be told.. I didn't notice but was so in love :) I don't think I looked. thx Taco

    I'll give it time and chill, as long as I didn't jack the suspension somehow then I'm good. thx WW.

    Have you rolled the truck back and forth since putting it back on the tires? That will settle right out one you move the truck a bit and the tires stop binding on the ground.

    I'm going to take it for a drive around and see if that helps. If that doesn't do it, I have a job for my kids... they can all hang on the passenger side of the bed for a while :).

    Back it up and roll it back into the garage. 10 feet of movement is all it'll take. :)

    Did some driving around and still have the 1" taco lean. Both front and rear are an inch higher than the driver side. Don't think it was like this when I got it a few weeks ago.

    It's on empty right now too, probably be worse with a full tank.

    Any other thoughts before I try getting into spacers? 1" is more than my personality can be happy with.

    I'm really surprised that there's so much of a difference after sitting on the jackstands. (trust me, my truck has had more time on jackstands than most! ;))

    I imagine you've tried the obvious like parking it in a different spot in case the floor's uneven. The spacer might be the best option for you if it's really as noticeable as it appears in the pictures.

    Last night it settled after a drive up the canyon. Not sure why it was off but now I think it's a normal "taco lean".

    Pics were with empty tank, after settled I topped off the tank and now half maybe 1/4" on rear diff between pass and driver.
