And the open windows now that the temps have cooled down.

 

Our cat sprints to the front door and greets us everytime. Ive never know a cat to do that.

 

It depends whether it's after 5:00 pm. If it is, they are at the door and all over my shit because they are obviously near certain death from starvation regardless that they had snacks a few hours earlier. Prior to that hour, they could generally not give a shit our arrival.

 

I’ve only had one cat in my life that I didn’t dearly love. That cat would tolerate a petting but was generally aloof and loved nobody. He was, as have been all my cats, an indoor/outdoor cat. He would sleep indoors, eat his meals indoors, spend all the rest of his time outdoors except when he needed to poop. He’d come in, scratch and paw half his litter onto the floor, balance himself on the edge of the box to do his business on the floor, then out the cat door he flew. Obviously, this behavior got old very quickly, and that cat went away before his 1st birthday. I don’t regret getting rid of him, but have laughed about that dumb fuck animal for many years now.

They are beautiful! We love our orange and orange/white kitties and we find that they are generally reaL trouble makers. And smart as cats can be.

 

Rascal and Gunny hanging out .... this is also the closest they've been with ea other since I brought Gunny home !!

 

Kitten steps . Gunny will no doubt weasel his way into Rascal's heart.

 

Gunny sure has grown a lot already. Sure wish they didn’t get so big so fast. But on the other hand I’m glad they do.

They're so cool! They look like a "lowrider" version of a regular cat.

I think they're awesome but I don't think I'll ever have one unless I happen across one at a rescue.

Every one of my cat has come from a rescue in one form or another. In Ollies case, he literally just showed up one day in my sisters garage & we took him in.

On that note - Prayers for the folks in Florida dealing with this hurricane - My sister and her family are currently safe & sound in a evacuation shelter in North Port. They live in Englewood and left at 7am this morning for higher ground. Englewood is getting the worst of the storm right now.

So I'm at work and I'm in a dock waiting to get loaded, I really gotta pee so I walk out into the woods behind the building and I saw a real purty kitty.
He had a nice little burrow he came out of and someone must have left food out and he found it. I was about 20 feet away. Very timid little creatures. You have to be a complete moron to get sprayed by a skunk. I've had them sit on the deck right next to me and eat cat food.
